I can't say I blame her for feeling that way... but if we were to lose her, we'd be losing one of the few people with anything approaching sense in this world... Please, my lady, if you're reading this, don't do anything rash. This world will be a gloomier place without your presence...

(( Interesting character backgrounds there on several female Exiles, even if they're just mentioned in passing and glad to see some development on the Black Widow, since I've had a few ideas about her, tying into my personal storyline. I hope this means she and her girls get some additions to their details, the way that the Unclean in Richland did...))

I can see how this is sad coming from used to being one of the Merv's people. She can't be forced to stay any longer unless she forces herself. I don't remember the last time she was actually "happy" or filled with completely pure happiness. She is always worried and bothered by her husband and his work. It also seems she conceals her emotions and feelings around him, hence reading her poetry alone.

Perhaps she needs someone to feed her some positive emotion like Neo once did. Maybe that is what she is missing. Once she tasted it nothing else could subsitute it.

If I didn't know it would get him into majorly hot water with the Boss, I'd nominate my brother Merrill, aka Guillimar the Bard, to help her out in that respect. There again, his heart lies with someone else, so that might not work, either...

(What great story line development. Her poetry reading in the chateau, Swinborne, all hinted at depression and feelings of "suicide." The recent contest she held to find the greatest love story. Persephone was, I believe, created to be a sensual program. With her husband, "finding new toys," she most likely feels anything but sensual. Methinks the lady has been looking for her lost sensuality, her lost feelings. Ah, the difference between love and lust!

I'm sad I missed this event. Great job Rarebit! Makes me lust to learn what the lady will do next, and of course her husbands reaction when he learns of this.

I cannot blame you my lady. I too am dishonored by this world. A world where "evil" is called "good". A world of lost equilibrium and inverted values. A world that ridicules "absolute truth" in the name of "moral pluralism". A world that endorses "perversion" and upholds it as an "alternative lifestyle". Where the poor are exploited and it's called a lottery. Where the needy are neglected in the name of "self-preservation", and "laziness" is rewarded and called "welfare". Where the unborn are killed and they call it "choice" and those that perform such procedures are killed in the name of "right to life". A world where they neglect to discipline the children and call it "building self-esteem". Where power is abused and called "political saavy". Where our neighbors' possesions are coveted and called "taxes". A world where the airwaves are polluted with profanity and pornography and is called "freedom of expression". Where the time-honored values of our forefathers are ridiculed and they call it "enlightenment". Yes my lady, I feel your pain. I too am dishonored by this world. /returns to the fire.

((Yeah please avoid the politics. The game has politics, but really I doubt persephone would be the gaybashing, modest woman, who detests pornography and overt sexuality, and all the corruptness. Need I remind you she has friends of succubai, does that make her detestable? Eh, it doesnt apply to the game whatever you believe. And if it does I guess you'll have to translate it better because it makes 0 sense for persephone to be the "Moral Crusader" of the MXO universe..))
