hmm yes all trades are final but I tend to look at it another way.  I see it as if glue is like hey look at my new car here are the keys cool huh?  Then Reg takes the keys and runs with em hops in the car and takes it forever.  Sure it was a mistake to give him the keys but an honorable man would have given them back.  The fact of the matter is we could argue on who is right and who is wrong for ever and never reach a verdict what is done is done and lets leave it at that.  Im sure mistakes were made on both sides and there is no changing it now.

No, it is like a ATM giving me £200 instead of £100 and then saying gimme back the excess.  Incidentally in that situation the bank calls the police and has me up for theft......  It happened IRL.....

However this is a game. Gluevane was dumb. Reg was stoopid. And I'm not sure why it is kryts fault he got given info..... handling stolen goods

From my understanding, neither of them got a perma-ban. They both got temporary suspensions. They are deleting the characters "ReguIus" and "C3Real" (Kryt's alt) because Regulus spend 200 mil of illegal money on his char and Kryt spend at least 10 mil on his (Reg gave him 50mil yet he only donated 40mil to his own charity).

It is kind of like someone using an exploit to level their char to 50 quickly. Because the character was obtained illegally, it must be deleted. This is a less extreme case where at least 210mil of illegal funds were used to purchase and level abilities/trees/etc. The only way to take these illegal abilities away is to delete the character or have the thief pay with cash that they actually earned.

I think the worst CSR decision out of this whole event was allowing OTHER players to raise money to pay off the debt of the illegal chars. If people were going to do that, they should have done it privately. Neither were going to be perma-banned. Kryt could still play under "Krytical" and Regulus could either start over or play on an alt that he probably has.

I mostlyy agree agree with you here, Regulus is certainly at fault for not behaving in a more community spirited manner he should have given the money back before the csr's were called in (assuming he was asked...although even then did he need to be...hmm meh irrelevant).

When the CSR's were called it was perectly possible for the money to be recovered, if not in raw cash, then in equivalent abilities, if that had been done and a ban of a week or more had been imposed I really would feel it was appropriate and served Reg right....but to delete a character that someone has invested months of gametime in (all at a real money cost) is a very cruel descision - Its the gaming equivalent of arresting a thief telling him he is being locked away for 6 months AND taking his first born child to slaughter in front of his family. The penalty imposed by the CSR was significantly OTT and that really needs to be brought home by whatever means we can.

Further how Kryt's alt managed to get the same punishment is totally bewildering and wrong! In the real world the injured parties would have had a legitimate civil case against the powers that be....this is a game and penalties need to be appropriate and sympathetic to the customer.

If there is one thing war has taught me, it's that if you want the
results, you can't do things long distance, you have to put troops on
the ground. Maybe Bush would be better off having troops moved from
Iraq to San Diego?

I'm on board. Don't have much info, but I'll do what I can. The way the Devs go about their ban/warn process is not a recent problem, it's been a longstanding issue, and it has to be addressed. Devs, open your ears. Your doin something wrong!

Again I point out ever wonder if they just want us to quit. Do you not think all these descisions and paths intertwine into a behavior of someone trying to break ties.

Face it we have not seen an expansion or any of the promised trees we wanted. We got a revamp we really didn't ask for, and Customer Service is an all time low. why keep a game running where the majority of the player base has already quit. Expect soon another merger of the servers into one. Then in the long run a shut down.

My 2 cents

I think that we're all set with the amount of mods we have right now. Perhaps if we see you conducting yourself in a way to help the community and assist in the forums being a positive place to be we'll consider your request in the future.

Thanks!
