There a few things that really annoy me when using a Patcher Sim:- 1) Why on earth does the Patcher Sim buff players from other orgs?, surely it should only buff players from the same org as myself. 2) Even though my buffer is full the Patcher Sim still keeps trying to buff me. 3) When in a team whilst the Patcher Sim buffs myself but it takes ages or sometimes never buffs team-mates.

yea, they aren't very smart. we've had sims that would heal the guy sitting in disguise, instead of the guy getting his face ripped off in interlock. they're stupid, so it would GREATLY help if they did actually understand that the merv that is standing next to the hardline getting ready to suplex me doesn't need Efficiency... -_-

1.) Flagged or not? You can buff every unflagged player, why shouldn't ur sim? (Try telling other players to use /pvp)
2.) Can you see other player's bufferbars? Now imagine what you would do without chat/teamspeak. On the bright side of things, NPCs seem to have infinite IS so it doesn't really matter does it?
3.) Well what would the Stormtroopers do? Help one of their own, or aid the Sith Lord first?
Sims are alright. Maybe not the smartest but hey ---

Sims should give first Priority to buffing you, I'm sick of having my sim buff every... single... person at Mara C and completely ignore me. This means whenever I want to get buffs from it I have to run around a corner so I'm alone. Then random people follow me cause they want buffs too, even if they aren't PvPing.

Patcher sims should also be able to heal/rez, imo.

They do heal garu! Place the sims tactic on defensive and you'll see.. if you put the tactic on offensive they will use freefire speed, delte upgrades and *sometimes* code rot (that logic blast move-thing) in the patcher tree. Ifyou want your sim to buff you over others, simply move away from the hardline (mara c,i presume) and they will buff you first. My onlyquarrel with them is the fact that they give you enhaced block wen you don't alwayswant it... >.<

Yep I have realised this too. It would be great if this got changed.
And why doesn't the level 50 patcher have Upgrade master upgrade?

What would be the point? It would perpertually waste its IS on an abilty that would fail... unless you ever walk around with 150 buffer open?
Until patcher sims get smart that would be a laughable add

There's an ability in the coder trees near the bottom called 'charge' sim, it gives the sim 15% reduction and another IS buff. It doesn't work, and needs to be fixed!

How'd ya wanna know it doesn't work when you see neither their IS, nor the IS cost of their abilities? That's what bothered me for a long time, too, because you don't really know how much IS they have, or if their abilities even use up IS at all?
+15% IS reduction +50% IS regen rate
On a sidenote: This is the ONLY ability in-game that utilizes IS regen rate bonus. And that on sims. Nobody will waste attribute points for vitality just so their sims have a better IS regen rate, which will get a HUGE boost with the 50% IS regen rate bonus at default already.

- Patch Daemons randomly buff every friendly signal within their range (be it player or NPC) which includes non-flagged members of other orgs.
- They only buff their owner if no other signal is within its range.
- Heals have priority over upgrades in case there is a friendly below 50% health in its range.
- The only attack virus a LVL 50 Patch Daemon has is Delete Upgrade 2.0. Harmful Code is only casted by lower level Patch Daemons.
- Using a Patch Daemon at Mara C is a hazardous thing cuz it does not care whether a player is flagged or not; so it can render you flagged without your permission.
- No one has access to the information on how full or empty someone's buffer is so the PatchD can simply shoot a guess.
- The behaviour options of a PatchD only apply to its level of aggression. Setting it to passive wont stop it from patching.
- No Sime (nor any other NPC) has unlimited IS. Simes just APPEAR to have infinite IS because they're buffed with either Proxy Master or Charge Simulacra most of the time (a charged Karate Sime can almost spam an opponent with Wrist Throws *LOL*)
This is the rules of handling a PatchD. I've got some experience with Simulacrum stuffs because they were my primary skills for a very long time. It would rock if you could command a PatchD to specifically buff one particular person. But that would make REAL Upgrade Masters obsolete, wouldn't it? "
Aside from that: Charge Sime DOES work perfectly (unless they've messed it up since I left). Just try it out on a Nuker Sime and you will see it "spam" attacks with their IS never running dry.
The upgrade Enhanced Dodge gives you both Melee AND Ballistic defense just like if you had Hyper-Dodge and Hyper-Block running at the same time. The catch is: It also overrides Hyper-Sense while is does not give Thrown Defense. A player won't be able to turn Hyper-Sense on again until Enhanced Dodge is worn off (or the player dumps it themselves). Two possible fixes: Make Enhanced Dodge give Thrown Defense too or make it not override Hyper-Sense.
