I have thought of two builds
the first is :

Belief: 25
perception: 17
reason: 8
focus: 20
Vitality: 20

the second is:
belief 25
perception 9
reason: 8
focus: 24
vitality: 24

Too spread out, and you have points in useless attributes.

The three main attributes are Perception, Focus, and Belief. Don't put any points in Reason or Vitality, at level 50 points in them makes little difference.

Perception is used mostly for MCT, Focus for RCT, and Belief for DR and better resists. Depending on your ability loadout you use most often, go with that.

I have a character with attributes even accross the board with vitality one behind (havn't used my attribute hack still) He does ok at all the abilities but doesn't have that one extra point in mct, rct or transmission  that could make a difference.  Overall he's a good solid  character. He is basically Karate/Rifles and was all the way up to lvl 50.

I hated hackers so much.  I was envious of their power during the live events, and I was amazed they could defeat the archive bosses. I made  another  character   a hacker to learn  how to defeat them and be able to attempt to get drops in the archives alone. However, his beginning attribute group was  not the one that favored reason. At the time I didn't realize how important the attributes were I just wanted to get to level 50.

I used the attribute hack and pushed reason  all the way up. The hack only returned me to the original         attribute group I choose when I picked the "personality" of the character.

>>> I get a bigger coding discount, code at  higher levels, and have faster consumable compile times. Possess high viral transmission although 399 for my favorite loadout.  He cant hyper jump as far as my other character. He seems to get beat up faster and doesnt recover as quickly with the same loadouts.

I have  fourth character  stopped at lvl 4 because I can't decide what his main abilities are going to be, and I want to start with the main attribute at its highest level. I started him as a Hacker but with everyone crying about Hackers being too powerful and the archive bosses deflection turned up,  Im afraid  Hacker will be useless as  an attacker and more or less used in a support role.

With the new combat system coming out, who knows what abilities will prevail and what the impact attributs will have on them.

And I still can't decide what I want that character to be.

I guess before the new combat system is implemented it does'nt matter.

no need for vitality...pick a class you want to use mainly and build for that one or else you run the risk of not being powerful enough in any class. You can have 3 characters per server, so you can actually have 3 different attribute sets for different classes which being skilled in one is the best.

**bleep** man I have a lvl 10 and his Perception is aready 21!...but crap in
most the others...even at that low lvl you see the importance of belief
and focus...damage resistance and DR are very imp....build the toons
around what you want them to be...I did the same with my first...he's a
solid character but the are all lvl...and it helps if you get soe good
drops....amd still waiting on a sakura to drop out of the sky for me lol

has the combat revision 2.0 been intruduced into the game yet and if so are they going to state what each attribute is going to do. on the main site it had some of the influences of each attribute.

Right , see this is where i messed up ... my stats most of my stats are now 12 bar reason and preception there both 9 , my character is only lvl 13  so i still have time to sort out my stats .

what you be nice would be the option to reset your stats , some how  useing a misson item or possably spending info . this will also help some new players from makeing the same mistakes as we did .

what do you think?

That's the problem that people disperse their points too much, trying to do everything.

Attributes don't matter as much as clothes now anyway. Unless you're planning on getting involved in dead serious PvP pre-CR, it really doesn't matter much.

It's all about Focus, Perception, and Belief. Belief is good for everyone, Focus for Ranged, Perception for Melee. Don't even bother with anything else.

Reason is pretty much useless since VT is so easy to buff anyway;
Vitality is pointless because Health is so easy to buff and Belief does a better job of making you a tank.

I read up on the attributes before I allocated my points, so I haven't made a catastrophe of my loadout, although now I'm regretting not making a pure Belief build.
