The thing that set this game apart from all the rest originally was the chance to really interact with the characters we've all come to know and love in a completely non-scripted manner. Not what we have today...but real interaction. That being said, I'd say the one key building block to reviving MxO is...

Bringing back a Live Events Team.

Yeah there needs to be something to do that doesnt involve a mad grind / farm.  So much of what happens in mxo is recycled.  I get that we dont have LET or DEV staff to seriously work on new content.  Ultimately what would "revive" (which i think is the wrong word cause mxo certainly isnt dead.. its just.. limp ha) MXO?

A bigger budget.  How do we get a bigger budget?  Larger player base.  How do we get a larger player base?  We need to market the game....

so there we go.. through logic we see ultimately MXO needs to be marketed more appropriately before we can get anywhere else.  However you could argue that this alone will not bring new players to the game.  New players (like old players) need something to stir the imagination to get away from that oh so bad grind to 50... so you could argue that LET would help bring players.

I could go round in circles all day here.

Yes, MXO events was what made this game so special. I talk about real big events like the assassin thing not our current "little events".

I honestly think SOE has enough money to do something with MXO. It's just they don't want to.

Everquest is much older than MXO and they seem to be "hooked" on it, adding new content very often a friend told me. Without a first step from SOE , The Matrix Online will never evolve and will stay only an "addition" to the station pass.

A full time PAID LET and animators..... but you are talking about a $2 - 5M USD budget......

A bigger team, period. But I cannot admire the current team enough for their efforts.
