I was reviewing some of the latest intel on the Algorithm Black event when out of no where the Algorithm Operative messaged me.  Someone must have told them I spoke to one of the Scanline Operatives a few days ago and here is the conversation we had regarding it.

(10:52:35 PM) Algorithm Operative: Mr. Meretseg sure has a lot to say, doesn't he?
(10:52:51 PM) Machete: Yes SHE does
(10:53:01 PM) Algorithm Operative: Heh, could've fooled me.
(10:53:36 PM) Machete: Well I figured an Operative such as youself would have had a full dossier on the Scanline Crew
(10:55:30 PM) Machete: So I guess you have heard about everything they have been saying
(10:55:37 PM) Machete: well at least just a bit SMILEY<img mce_tsrc=
(10:55:45 PM) Algorithm Operative: We've been listening, yes.
(10:56:52 PM) Algorithm Operative: They spin quite an interesting thread.
(10:57:17 PM) Machete: Meretseg: The darkness being woven by the algorithm can been seen even now, by those who are always watching.
(10:57:46 PM) Machete: Meretseg: I have to hand it to the algorithm though, so carefully placed, secret... hidden away.
(10:58:14 PM) Machete: Meretseg: Just waiting for the right little piece that starts an avalanche.
(10:58:35 PM) Machete: Meretseg: The lies will come out. It is not what it claims to be.
(10:59:08 PM) Algorithm Operative: How sweet of them to continue dividing everyone.  It's what they do best.
(10:59:39 PM) Machete: Meretseg: It takes an incredibly smart entity to create something so full and complete in this system, it requires something entirely different if you create something to make you all think it's something that it's not.
(11:00:23 PM) Algorithm Operative: Yet even Scanline refuses to give straight answers, don't they?
(11:00:30 PM) Machete: Meretseg: Yet with all its cleverness it lacks something only those who exist every day, gathering information. Wisdom. It may be able to fool you, yet Scanline is always reading the code.
(11:01:46 PM) Machete: as do I......
(11:02:03 PM) Machete: Meretseg: Now, to slip this little gem of an algorithm in without anyone noticing would have taken a very clever piece of coding.
(11:02:47 PM) Machete: and here is where you should pay close attention...
(11:02:49 PM) Machete: Meretseg: Scanline have everything to with the algorithm, or at least uncovering the falseness which it seeks to spread.
(11:03:03 PM) Machete: Meretseg: Now, to slip this little gem of an algorithm in without anyone noticing would have taken a very clever piece of coding.
(11:03:43 PM) Algorithm Operative: Perhaps we'd be afraid, if she knew what she was talking about.
(11:05:12 PM) Machete: Meretseg: Yet what is an algorithm without something to control it?
(11:05:33 PM) Algorithm Operative: Don't look for straight answers from those who seek to discredit, divide and destroy, Machete .  You'll only be led astray.
(11:05:49 PM) Machete: Meretseg: Something this large needed time and planning. Little tiny tweaks all through the Matrix over god knows how long. Carefully setting it all up.
(11:06:08 PM) Machete: She made a lot of good points
(11:06:21 PM) Machete: and I have been in contact with them for quite some time
(11:06:49 PM) Machete: Meretseg: Something this large needed time and planning. Little tiny tweaks all through the Matrix over god knows how long. Carefully setting it all up.
(11:07:02 PM) Machete: How do you know they seek to destry discredit and destroy?
(11:08:26 PM) Machete: Their transmissions expose many things going on under the surface
(11:09:39 PM) Algorithm Operative: Do you know why they do what they do, Machete?
(11:10:15 PM) Machete: Anyone who goes to such lengths to expose the truth will obviously have their own agenda
(11:10:26 PM) Algorithm Operative: Theirs is vengeance.
(11:10:28 PM) Machete: That much I am aware of
(11:10:34 PM) Machete: Vengence?
(11:10:40 PM) Machete: Please elaborate
(11:11:26 PM) Algorithm Operative: The rogue hovercraft Scanline is comprised of former operatives of every organization...
(11:11:53 PM) Machete: Go on
(11:12:25 PM) Algorithm Operative: These operatives have left their various organizations on bad terms.  Either severe injury during battle, investigations on them, or other serious incidents.
(11:13:20 PM) Algorithm Operative: The result is always the same, however.  They know things about each organization that can hurt it... and they want revenge for their mistreatment.
(11:13:59 PM) Algorithm Operative: Their vengeance is the ability to create chaos among the operatives of these organizations by revealing these truths.
(11:14:14 PM) Machete: That's a little simplistic and petty for the lengths they go to expose their intel
(11:14:35 PM) Machete: If I didnt know any better they sound like a rogue band of Cypherites
(11:14:40 PM) Algorithm Operative: Some would've said the same about Morpheus and his code bombs, Machete.
(11:15:09 PM) Algorithm Operative: When someone has a purpose...  all-consuming and blinding...  they'll go to such lengths.
(11:15:15 PM) Algorithm Operative: Petty or not.
(11:16:41 PM) Machete: So they feel they got the short end of the stick by their orgs, and because of this they are now out to destroy each org?
(11:17:02 PM) Machete: I dunno
(11:17:05 PM) Machete: sounds thin
(11:17:10 PM) Algorithm Operative: Perhaps not destroy... something like that would take much more than one hovercraft is capable of.
(11:17:10 PM) Machete: their has to be more to it
(11:17:22 PM) Algorithm Operative: But certainly create chaos.
(11:18:10 PM) Machete: and what do they stand to gain besides a supposed sense of retribution that they "got back" at their former orgs
(11:18:47 PM) Algorithm Operative: Now you're asking the right questions.  Unfortunately, I cannot claim to have that answer.  Perhaps you should ask them yourself.
(11:19:10 PM) Algorithm Operative: Ask them why they do what they do.  And don't accept "because the truth must be told" as an answer.
(11:19:20 PM) Machete: why should I believe you?
(11:19:31 PM) Machete: You could be trying to do the ole spin on me
(11:19:40 PM) Algorithm Operative: Because we know them and their transmissions better than one might think.
(11:19:51 PM) Algorithm Operative: You're correct, Machete.  I could.  I don't expect you to believe me.
(11:19:59 PM) Machete: We do live in a world that is based on a lie
(11:20:01 PM) Algorithm Operative: I, like the Oracle, expect you to make up your own *CENSORED* mind.
(11:20:09 PM) Machete: I always do
(11:20:21 PM) Machete: But I am a truth seeker at heart
(11:20:32 PM) Machete: and I hear all sides for that very same reason
(11:21:01 PM) Machete: Most would take what you just told me and leave with a sense of confusion
(11:21:20 PM) Algorithm Operative: Confusion is not my intent.
(11:21:43 PM) Machete: That remains to be seen
(11:21:46 PM) Machete: But
(11:21:52 PM) Machete: You have left me with more questions
(11:21:57 PM) Machete: Which I believe was your intent
(11:22:04 PM) Machete: Now wasnt it SMILEY<img mce_tsrc=
(11:22:37 PM) Algorithm Operative: Questions keep people on their paths.  But you know that already.
(11:24:12 PM) Machete: The fact remains that they have made accusations regarding your group of operatives
(11:25:01 PM) Algorithm Operative: That is true.  And unsupported accusations at that.
(11:25:25 PM) Machete: and you have made your own against Scanline's crew
(11:25:47 PM) Algorithm Operative: Indeed.  Also unsupported, I'll admit.
(11:26:14 PM) Machete: if I had something concrete to back your claims, then I would try and see your side
(11:26:45 PM) Machete: but as of right now I will play the fence until such time I see which side to believe
(11:26:58 PM) Algorithm Operative: I'm not asking you to see my side.  I'm asking you to see your side.
(11:27:23 PM) Machete: I am trying to see the truth in a world of deception.  Not an easy task to say the least.
(11:28:17 PM) Algorithm Operative: Rarer things have been found.
(11:31:47 PM) Machete: You speak the truth

Algorithm Operative almost sounds like Rarebit typing... if that makes any sense.

I wasn't even aware Rarebit had a distinct typing style.

But now that you mention it, it does seem a bit convenient that he so quickly outright denies involvement... Hmm... that would also explain Scanline's interest. This is much bigger than I thought.

I just hope that wasn't Rarebit I was hitting on then...

Okay...So today I logged on and Immediately got a tell from operative 736 saying that he needed help to form a search party. When we were all ready he told us that we needed to find a  bluepill named Molly Tod. Eventually we found her in Tabor. When we got there she asked if any of us (xtybaltx, Roganclark, operative 736, operative923, and I) were  "DarkHorse" she said that she was waiting for him there. After she said that the two operatives shot her down, repeated what she said, and left through the Tabor W hardline...That was the end of that.

Also, the character I spotted at Uriah SW, SemiConductor plays a part in this some how...I just don't know how exactly

Edit: Also I would like to add When I asked them "What the hell!? Is this what you call peace?", they said "No, We call this security" .....So I'm thinking....Nah, scratch that I don't know what I'm thinking.

[20:58] Algorithm Operative: It appears we didn't stop him in time.

Algorithm Operative says:

It appears we did not hinder Brian Gauss in time.

Zayqar says:

I did not realize you were trying to stop him.

Algorithm Operative says:

He brought his website online.

Zayqar says:

Is that a problem?

Algorithm Operative says:

Potentially a large problem.

Zayqar says:

How so?

Algorithm Operative says:

He sought to reveal us... and the simulation, to all bluepills.

Zayqar says:

Hmm....are you sure that is bad?

Algorithm Operative says:

For now, yes.

Zayqar says:

Will the darkness still come?

Algorithm Operative says:

One can hope.

The update to algorithmblack.com is great. Special Ops!

"Understood, Agent Gray...

I suppose despite our differences in the past, it is best to help preserve the System from this Algorithm. If only I didn't see eye-to-eye with it over the Machines at this time... A troublesome obstacle indeed."

Ouch...Yeah, this is getting interesting. Funny how I started out not giving a *CENSORED* about this event. Now I'm all interested....*CENSORED* good event whoever you guys are.
