I figured there has to be other NHL fans here besides Nixon and I, so here's a thread for all of you to post your thoughts on the games, teams, players, ect.

In other news, Crosby and Briere are sitting out todays game. If the Pens win today in Philly, they are the Eastern Conference Champions, as they would tie Montreal with 104 points, and hold they tiebreaker over Montreal.

Today's NHL on NBC game was Chicago @Detroit, Detroit came out with a 4-1 win over the Blackhawks. The Wings got the NHL's President's Trophy, which goes to the team with the best record. They're guaranteed to have home ice advantage through the playoffs.

So here ya go, Hockey fans, discuss away.

Well, it looks like the Pens decided to tank the last game of the season so that they could face Ottawa first round instead of the Flyers. I'm really disappointed in the Pens for that. I hope it doesn't come back to bite them in the *CENSORED*.

I've gotta go with Montreal... always been a fan of them and it looks like they've got a team that may actually have a real shot this year. I like Ottawa too, but they've been on such a slide since, oh, about half way through the season. Heh.

If not Montreal or Ottawa, my third choice would be Pittsburgh as I've been a fan of theirs since the days of Mario.

Oh, and Toronto! ... man, they suck... again... still. *points at Toronto and laughs*

anywho.....currently watching my RED WINGS Spank the Colorado Avs ...um...its 2 periods down atm and its 7-1....in game 4..and we are up 3-0 in this second round series...Woot!!! GO WINGS!!!!

I had such high hopes for the Habs, but it's not looking good at all for them right now. Oh well, I may have to rest my hopes on the Pens.

I was really expecting more competition in the Wings Avs series but, well, not so much.

We in Detroit are anxiously awaiting the outcome of that series........i'm not sure Who I want to see us play against....Dallas and the Rangers are both *CENSORED* good teams.
