I don't listen to anything when I'm in the midst of PvP, I find it adversely affects my concentration. When touring the city, which I do from time to time, I like to break it down and break out Massive Attack or Portishead. Actually I'm always listening to Massive Attack of Portishead. I was never here. Wonderful tastes in music.
I listen to Massive Attack and Portishead, but not necessarily when I am playing MXO. I prefer something that feels more Matrix-like and for that I generally listen to Muse, Nine Inch Nails, or Fear Factory.
If I had to pick a theme song, it'd be "Edgecrusher" or "Replica" by Fear Factory.

Powerman 5000 - When World Collide
OR
Prodigy - Smack My *CENSORED* Up
OR
Propellerheads - Spybreak (short one) (the song from The Matrix, the lobby scene, before they blow the lift up).

Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation, Portishead, Cocteau Twins, love this kind of music in general.
Don't really listen to music much during either since I'm usually on vent, but if I were to pick a song specifically for this it'd have to be...
Slipknot - Wait and Bleed

I knew I recognised the name Thievery Corporation, 'Lebanese Blonde' from the Garden State soundtrack. I looked into them further and found this. I strongly recommend seeking out 'Love In The Time Of Science', and 'Fisherman's Woman' by the female vocalist featured in the linked song - Emiliana Torrini. I could listen to her voice all day. She's Icelandic, so she sounds like a more sedate and structured Bjork.
