I'm actually happy to see that the players being nominated are NOT ones that I already know a lot about. I mean, I've seen Sattakan around on the forums since forever, and I've seen him around Recursion since the server merge, but it's nice to learn more about him - especially since he has been here so long.

I met Satta in game once, what impressed me the most was that he was a professional and a good conversationalist, he was very polite to me.

I was on the church rooftop in Mara with three others from my crew when one of the Collective (I don't remember the name of the guy) was just being a jerk with us and yelling like a nutcase, about how all Merv's should be extinguished, how we are cheaters and exploiters, and on and on and on. I pm'd Satta and told him one of his guys blew a gasket, in less than a minute the Satta shows up at Mara says hello to us all and takes the guy to the side to have a talk. Well whatever he said worked because the guy jumps in a hardline and takes off. Satta walks up and apologizes for the guy's attitude and we ended up talking for a bit before he got back to his mission or whatever he was doing with his faction. I told the guys in faction chat that they can say what they will about Satta, but in my book he's cool with me.

Gratz Satta for the Operative Profile!

All he's saying is that he doesn't think two people from the same faction OR server (notice he mentioned Recursion too) should be featured back to back because yes, it does kind of give the wrong impression no matter how you look at it. The Collective just had the misfortune of being the first faction it happened to.

I agree.

Probably not the last time it will happen. It takes a bit of time to set these up and every week I send out like 4 or 5 emails. Normally, only get 1 or 2 responses (since some peoples emails aren't updated).

Everyone needs to settle down and be civil to each other, because if I have to clean this thread again, some of you won't like the consequences.

Thanks.

Wow, thanks very much guys.  Sorry Virrago for taking so long to reply to your e-mail.  You are doing a great job, often thankless.

I see that things have not changed at all.  Wherever Satta goes drama follows.  I love it.  Always controversy surrounding a Satta thread.  SMILEY

Alot of you deserve appreciation a whole lot more than I do.  I like to stick behind the scenes and support everyone else.  However a little appreciation is welcome from time to time.  Remember guys we are all just having fun and I leave you with this...

"Treat a man as if he were what he ought to be, and you will help him become, what he is capable of being." - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

"Someone's opinion of you does not have to become your reality." - Les Brown

"Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight.  Extend to them all the care, kindness, and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward.  Your life will never be the same again." - Og Mandino
