Ok so the idea is add props(they would go in the tool slot) for party's and clubs and by that i mean like beer, martin glasses, things of that manner maybe even cigars and cigarettes or combinations of things like that, and they should have both mood stances and activate animations when you are holding the item(i.e. Taking a sip of your martini or puffing the cigar).

these items could be sold at the coat-check and bartender vendors alongside health-pills and antibiotics.

and there could be other non party related items as well like books,laptops,cheese-burgers(which i would gladly pay you for on Tuesday =p ).

obviously these items are for roleplay and novelty purposes but i think it would be fun and add another layer of realisim that i think this game lacks in some areas compared to other games.

so what do ya'll think?

Sounds very good, even if all it did was basically start a time limited emote just like Merv's cake does.  Though, with that cigar thing implemenyed, my second in command would constantly have one in his mouth.  SMILEY

cigs and alcohol are opposites of healthpills health boosters.  Although they are all drugs, health pills have no negative side effect.  Don't bring your disfunctional lifestyle into the game. :O  It may immitate real life, for the posers that want to be cool like the others who do it cause others are doing it.  Or those incontent with their jobs or life in general.  We are red pills, we don't need these things.  We know the truth so we don't need to further delude ourselves with alcohol and other chemicals.  :O

Why bother with slick-looking outfits then... dress like a hobo... or not at all (that seems popular with some)

While you're at it don't bother going out, you're only going to come home again.

Well we don't have ingame homes, and if many people jack into the matrix seemingly without an agenda.  We run around in the rain, sit on benches talking to each other, and go around killing each other and street mobs.  Yes, we are disgruntled hobos.  You can't stay inside if you wanna get that moneys.

Anything that can help us players make the game more real for us, would be beneficial to this game.

I'll just keep it short and say I agree with all the posts, and point out a related quote:

"You know, I
know this steak doesn't exist. I know that when I put it in my mouth,
the Matrix is telling my brain that it is juicy and delicious. After
nine years, you know what I realize? Ignorance is bliss." - Cypher

Every time I go into a club, I see intricate curls of smoke from abandoned smokes.  It would be so cool to have one in my hand.  Cool for roleplay.  Cool for fun.

Some people might wail that having smokes in MxO will make people more like to smoke IRL.  If that's true, who do we have handguns, automatic rifles, and shotguns?

killing others for a cause (money) is different than killing yourself.

I hope my ingame character Transmissioner doesn't die from second hand smoke.

I'd like to see some fog machines or a dry-ice fog layer around our feet in the clubs. Probably very hard to implement, would look cool though.

Agreed.  However I don't think it would be that hard to implement.  Remember the Halloween event?  The JOLs had lots of fog surrounding them.  Seems the idea and the basics are already in game.  Now just to get the Devs to implement them...

I love the idea of props.
Standing around chillin' with a beer in my hand would be cool, and for my alt, a sexy pose with a martini glass is also great SMILEY

I don't subscribe to the "People will do it if it's in MxO". The funny thing is most of that crap (and also legal reasons not to do so from the companies themselves) comes from the US, where gun-toting people ride around in their cars without a seatbelt whilst yammering away on their mobile phone.

You can only go so far. Stupid people are going to do stupid things. It's just that sadly the world is so litigious nowadays they'll try and blame their stupidity on a corporate body to try and extort money.
