I think you misunderstand what a "Veteran Reward" is, it is something that is given to anyone on a set date subscribed, say one you have been here 1 year and you'd get an item via /claim. Mobius and HJBeta were Pre-order and/or story rewards so were never "Veteran" rewards.
Beta Clothing isn't even a Veteran Reward, it is a Beta Reward.

True. But given the time that has elapsed since BETA to now, it does technically imply that these items were in the hands of veterans of the game. Thus, are they not veteran awards?

Ah, but on that theory, I could play MxO for 10 years but couldn't be called a Veteran but I am splitting hairs now. Mobius and HJBeta lost all its value Q1 of 2006 thats why it was put into a quest. No other rare items will be put into a quest like that as it was wrong for them to do it with Mobius and HJBeta.

For Veteran rewards, I would be very content with a set of clothes on it with a unique logo of some sort for each year you are subbed, they can have those scaling buffs or no buffs at all, it would be just something unique and is something to point out how long you have been here.

From what I've seen and experienced with SWG's vet rewards and now this one is that most of the 'rewards' are just decorations or items that are only special in their appearance nothing too game breaking for non-vets. MxO doesn't have the system for vanity. FX's are gained by Archives, perps by way of rewards and they don't affect combat too much (Yeah I know about upgrade deleting...) We have no player housing (or hovercraft) to decorate etc... and MxO isn't about redpills and their pets... (But I can have my Override Bit) so what would people suggest for Vet rewards?

Perhaps if it was a different colour, say pink... then it wouldn't *CENSORED* off those 5 people as they'd have the only green ones, and everyone else would be happy too SMILEY

correct me if im wrong...but it was green and shiney with lines?....green commando shirt? lol i cant remember but something reminds me or it for some reason >.<

Vet rewards would be nice, things i'd like to see? Where do i start:

1. Perps: be a nice add but too much time effort for new effects to be bothered with.
2. Clothing: buffed or unbuffed it would be sweet....(if you cant call a mask that has the only 5% ballistic damage a major effect in pvp i dont know what is SMILEY )
3. Abilities: Again nice but not gonna happen.|
4. Pets: Hell no i dont want to see those as its just random -.^ unless you can figure out a way to make them fit storywise :/

Best suggestion: "beta" type clothes...simple...purposeful. (:
