I think its fine. Makes killing the gargoyle easier, keep stringing specials to stop the rolling out.

Its been mentioned a million times but its never been fixed. Heres a post I made a while back about my experiences. Ill repost it below: Some people actually believe theres nothing wrong with Gargoyle. I would love to hear something from 9mmfu about this. Some of this has been mentioned numerous times but ill say it again. A couple of bugs ive noticed when fighting Gargoyle in interlock are: -Using regular tactics (speed, power and grab) breaks interlock. You and Gargoyle both get booted from interlock and Gargoyle 99% of the time will immediately interlock you again. Gargoyle isnt rolling out because if he was he wouldnt be able to attack you for 5 secs unless thats bugged too. -Specials will sometimes missfire draining IS but doing no damage to Gargoyle. Specials get queued, green animation shows it hit, the specials animation is shown but Gargoyle takes no damage. System log doesnt even log the event. -Enrage and stun does not prevent Gargoyle from breaking interlock. Only way to keep Gargoyle in interlock is to use specials back to back or switch to block tactic while your waiting for timers. -Using the block tactic to keep Gargoyle in interlock will bug combat completely. Specials blink but never fire off. I think you get stuck in block even though you have another tactic selected. I have not found a way to fix this other than doing a full relog. Im sure there are more. Good thing for now is its very easy to kill Gargoyle even with all these bugs. He is by far the easiest archive boss to kill.

The title here should be 'Widow's Moor'.

Doing specials might work for MAs and GMs, but Gargoyle still rolls out when I try to use a hacker ability. I've given up on WM and will bypass this construct.

just use block, do a powerful combo special, block, then repeat again

I think it works for that though. Block in this case prevents IL from braking. BTW if any1 notices like in duels or whatever that the IL is about to brake (ie it gets stuck at some point and some1 suddenly withdraws) use block.

I dont think Widows Moor is that much of a pain if I'm being honest, he's by far the easiest archive boss to beat. Yes Garg rolls out but when he rolls out you get the change to land a blow, to get a state before you interlock him once again.

I interlock him and get like 3 moves off and he rolls out. I cant beleive you used all your IS so quickly. I rarely run out of IS before the end of the fight

Apparently, Widows Moor isn't a priority for the dev team at the moment, so don't expect a fix for a while
