Hey folks, so yeah I understand how some of you feel. Walrus is a great person for the community and he's really been there to help weather the storms that have come up. He's the perverbial rock that's always been there. The good thing is, he's still going to be there in a production role which is pretty darn awesome! Sure I've made mistakes and I've learned a great deal since being part of the Community Team so I expect to move forward better than before. I'm really in this to help make the MxO community a great place to be, just as Walrus has done in the past. I'm open to listening to your ideas and suggestions and I think we can do some great things with the community. Yeah your mistakes almost split the community in two. I'm saying this right now, if any of that crap gets pulled again, then you'll have a new nickname Raijinn: the person who killed MxO. All I'm asking from you is to be a little more professional this time, please prove us all wrong and do your job well.

That was never announced, only speculated, and apparently, taken on as some sort of 'half-truth' inside the community. In fact, all the DC overshadow over MxO is speculation and i wish it'd stop. It's tiring to constantly see 'yeah, they only picked up MxO to get their hands on DC' 'yeah, they'll shut MxO down when DC is out' 'yeah, DC will be just like MxO but better'. Bah.

The fact that SOE has such a crappy history, ruining games, not caring about the customers, etc. I highly doubt DC will become a big MMORPG. I don't think anyone in this community would want to deal with SOE if they didn't have the rights to MxO

Walrus, Thank you for a great time and I am sure we will meet in person (believe me the IT community management or not is small). As for your successor, I wish him nothing of the best. Now this is where I say my two cents: I dont give a *BLEEP* what others experiences has been (Walrus's successor). As long as he performs at or above Walrus's level we are going to have a good time. I am very interested in giving this guy a good opportunity. What I do not like is the Goddamned prejudgement, especially when our player population is small and we are finally getting new players who see the crap that some of us veterans post. I respect your opinions, but that BS some other place (yes that means your damned axes you have to grind). Lets give the guy a chance, he is human and he has probably learned (read: recovered) from his mistakes (hence his promotion by Walrus and subquent approval by Walrus's superiors). Good luck Raijinn. Some of us are here for you.

Walrus, man you will be greatly missed. I wish you good luck on your future project. I have been with this game since before the website had a forum and you have been there most of the time. (Anyone remember when the forums seemed to not have any mods at all and were full of spam?) Even though you have made some mistakes in the past (not to rub it in) I forgave you instantly and you took responsibility for them and instead of what other people where they just edit the mistake and act like it never happened you had the balls to say hey guys its my fault and I'm sorry, and don't think for a second that you were a lacking CM. Because to me you were an awesome CM and this game and community would be totally different without you. Best of Luck to you, Khr0n1k Furious Angels

As a community, we're all in this together. One of the major things that I see here with the MxO community is that they love the game, what it stands for, and more importantly how much they care for their community. I think it's safe to say that we have one of the most dedicated communities right here in MxO. I'm glad to see how passionate everyone is about their feelings, yes they do have a place here on the forums as long as it's not flaming, disrupting, or in bad taste. Remember I'm here to listen to everyone, have some fun, do things for and with the community, but most of all we're in this together so lets make it so that everyone here can have a great time.

Well Walrus - i don't know much in light of the mistakes of the past but i've learned the collective failures of this game can't be pinned on one person and to be honest there are plenty of times when it's not all bad. Throw an LET char my way and i still have the tendency to light up like i did the first time i started playing mxo. I think many people will miss you, and i suppose i want to thank you for the hardwork you did here. The looking glasses were always a cool part of the story - especially back when the game was better- but that means you were here for the good times and bad so i'm greatful for the good times. Also i think if walrus belives Raijinn up to he job he is, maybe the past shouldn't be forgotten but if you people are willing to let LESIG 2.0 have a fresh beggining you might aswell give it to him. I hope this new project thing of yours turns out well and i also hope that it's a game i can jump over to some time and get special treatment Take care Walrus, catch you on the flip side. Darminian

Enough with the drama. "I will still be overseeing production of MxO, so I'm not going away completely. However, I'm handing over the reins of community management..." Why fuss over someone who isn't really leaving, but dumping the task of writing reports on someone else? P.S. Vita, why, yes, I did get a reply from Raijinn about a PM I sent him. ~_~ Didn't see that one coming, did you? Maybe he just doesn't like you.

Hopefully being a producer for two games is easer than being a producer for one while being a relatoins manager. See ya on the flipside Wally. }8

/target Walrus /salute It's a sad day, but at the same time, it should be interesting to see what Raijinn brings to the game in his new position. I'm also quite interested in hearing more about what Walrus is working on now, especially since he deems it something "that appeals to a lot of folks in this community."
