Ah. He could have been lying, of course, but what he said about the BIP remaining safe where it was tells me that maybe he doesn't want it himself. Maybe he's only retrieving it on behalf of the Oligarchy because the Merovingian nabbed it.

(I love the way the story line gets advanced on first one server then the other. A good reason to read the Events" posts. However, I have no character on Recursion or Vector so I am unable to take part in those chapters. Hopefully, something parallel will happen on Syntax.
