I am MetaLogic, and I agree with this post.

I will use every trial/free game they give us, as its not costing me a penny, But paying I dont think I will for a SOE game again. They were sitting on a money maker, didnt utilize the game and the following the Matrix has. I will laugh whole heartedly when DCU and The Agency fail. Until they learn advertisement and players are key to success they will fail at all games.

QFT I'll check out Everquest II during the trial period to pass some time, but yea you're right about advertising. It's the one thing I never understood about how this game was operated. So many low cost social marketing networks they could've used. Shame.

I tried to try EQ2. Spent 14 days trying to fix a problem with the "Arial" font. Appareantly Microsoft corrupted it, and it won't let EQ2 start! Yay >.>

Ya, that's good and all but does anyone have their trial working? Can they actually play all of the SOE games right now or are people having trouble? I can't access any of them for free and they keep telling me to resubscribe.

Ya, here is what Raijinn posted. I think I am reading it right... Are The Matrix Online subscribers going to be compensated for their loyalty to the game? On July 31, 2009 at 11:59PM PST the ability to play The Matrix Online will cease. We encourage players to transition their active service to one of the other SOE games available for trial during the transition period of June 1 through August 1, 2009.

I don't have the staion launcher so maybe that's the key to get the free trial? Dev/Admin clarification?

Ya, I have the station launcher too and it still wants you to upgrade or add a monthly sub fee
