Currently trying to get into the Computer Game Industry without the correct degree.  Catch 22s are gggggggreat.

Degrees, for the most part, is a piece of paper that says you may know what you are doing.

I dont have a degree its over rated. Plus you can buy one off the internet that looks legit.

The catch 22 I'm thinking more of is the fact they say you don't have enough experience.  Yet, how the hell do I get this "experience" they speak of when they no one will actually employ me to gain some experience.

Yea I hear what your saying.  Try making your own games and using that as part of your resume to show them you do indeed know what your doing.  More than likely they still may not hire you because lots of managers are idiots that think if they hire someone with out a degree will make them look bad.

By day I am a nerdy awkward reporter for a large city newspaper.

By night I secretly don a crappy home made superhero costume and become a crimefighter.

Zippy, don't tell me you work for those crooks at Allstate. 1 accident and your rates go through the roof.
