There are no physical items in the Simulation. It's an archive reward FX. Unless you manage to get a perpetual, it's two minutes like all the others, no more no less. Unless Rarebit and co reconsiders about it being an FX reward for the chapter 10 archives and brings it out as a clothing item buffed or not, I very much doubt it'll be a clothing item in the future unless it becomes part of an existing item of clothing.
i.e. Red Eye fx reward -> Commando Goggles

Well it is a hard light as opposed to the soft light of the code eyes and such.

People thought it was weird because the sword was a physical item and it would just randomly disappear after 2 minutes. Don't see whats weird about that in the Matrix... I mean come on.. I have 4 handguns 3 SMGs 2 Rifles, that all pop up out of thin air when I need them. I for sure cannot keep all of that in my Coat.
Sure you can...
And this

I'm sure it looks very nice as an effect, but since males don't have ninja masks or headbands, it looks just silly on males.

Everyone loves the red one. "oooh red!" But maybe thats because its the last one and we know the monotony is almost finally over. But ya, red, black, pink, and white would be awesome to have. I am just so glad we are getting it though. I was disappointed when I got my gi and didn't have a scarf flowing behind. I'll have to make a macro that starts it every 10 minutes.

It's a nice addition for the arch rewards, I hope it looks good with a bandana, if not oh well I'll just have it without, still a cool fx.

I dunno - It's not all that bad. And I don't care if it's pink or not. The perma version will probably be available as a LE award - like the rest of them. So Play hard and do well in a LE and have a choice to get a pretty perma-ninja ribbon. YEY! This is a pretty neat thing and Rarebit said at firstit wasn't player avalible. But I guess it was fixed so now we can have it. That is pretty cool in itself. My only question still arises - what do Ninjas and their ribbons have to do with The Matrix? And anything to do with the story so far? Besides the fact that this was added in with Sati's Playground (which was an add-in area). Sati wasn't really included in the story at all in the chapters so far. Only that The Oracle was snuffed by the Intruder in the previous chapter ... but we have not seen, nor heard anything from Sati or Seraph in all of the story 10. So .... uhm ... what does this prize have to do in relation to THE MATRIX and the current Story? Hmm?
It looks cool and maybe I will be trying to get one. But still - Relation to Story?! And To the Matrix Mythos ... Please try to explain this in more detail Rarebit and/or Viraggo (or whomever).
If a guy is wearing a Bandanna - it might not look so weird. It's an extension of the ties in the back. Same with the girls wearing a bandanna or a hat. Makes a Girl look like she has a pretty ribbon! yey! So - it's pretty cool looking. and worth getting. And rest assured there probably is a Perma-version. You'll just have to work for it in a LE like all the rest of them. Actually real Ninjas don't have long flowing ribbons - but whatever. It looks cool in fantasy and video games so I'm not saying anything bad here. FOR NINJAS EVERYWHERE IN THE MATRIX!!!!! *poooff*

The same thing that red-faced winged beasts, zombies, angels, blood-sucking vampires, cheat codes, giant fly monsters and wire-frame men do:
"...A world where anything is possible..." Of all the things we've seen, aren't ninjas the most "normal"??

Forum cq to Garu The new reward will be quite cool but i think about it as the same as an other reward item, the timers are to *CENSORED* short Fair enough it shouldn't be put to long as that lessens the perp but 2 mins or whateva just ain't long enough. I only do the archives when i'm lvln up a lowbie char as the reward seems like just a short bonus. I'd go and do the archives with my main if i thought the reward was worth getting, time wise.
