I stopped playing right around the release of 2.0 but now I'm back. I've always been a loyal machinist (ran with G7G from the beginning) but I'm less idealistic these days and can see some wisdom in the merv attitude. So here's the deal, I have one level 50 character on Vector. That's it. So I don't really want to leave Vector. I want a non-zionist faction that has a consistent presence on this server. I have to be honest, when I'm in game I have trouble finding anyone who isn't a zionist and all I'm looking for is a group to engage the story with and do the occasional pvp. If your faction is active in the story and usually has at least a couple players on Vector at any given time (in other words, people actually log in and play), please drop me a line either here or in game. I've always loved this game and really want to make the best of it for awhile. If enough people do that, maybe it can make a bit of a comeback. Thanks, Blank

Looks like a great faction Ingus but what I read on your forum makes it sound like you aren't very interested in Vector which, again, is where my RSI is trapped (I wish I could transfer him to a different server with more RP but I don't think that will ever happen). In one thread one of your members was inviting people to try Vector again and you gave a fairly involved speech about being established and respected on Rec. Other members said they pop onto Vector about once a week. Is this still the attitude of your faction? -Blank

All mero factions are fairly decent and we really are kinda like a big family regardless of what faction your in. This is mainly due to the fact there are no more super factions like in the old days so we cooperate with each other. Id suggest getting a mero tag then contact us and come hang with us and make your decision from there. You can be independent for awhile if you want to make an informed decision as time zones may play a part in your decision. If you have any questions just give me a shout here or in game. Gretyl

Or u can always follow the black cat. DARK EVO. Theres plenty of choices for ya out there. Talk to a few of us. You really cant go wrong in any of those choices. Either way MERVS PWN. We moved to recursion with plans to expand to syntax once we leveled up on recursion... many of our members never left vector and filtered into other factions or just became burnt out on mxo all together but now we exist actively on all three servers.

This is all good info, thank you. Ingus, I'm in the central U.S. timezone and tend to log in late evening/night. When are you guys most present? I still haven't decided whether or not to go Mero but if your presence is greater on Vector than the machines, I'd certainly make the switch. Not to mention the fact that I'm not entirely sold on helping the machines if they're relaunching a war on humanity. This is basic self interest, being all fleshy and the like. Helping enforce the truce I bought. This? I haven't decided. It should be said though, what can the mero do to save my butt if the machines crush zion? I tend to park my car there and everything. -Blank

Well, for the moment I've stayed machine and joined Silent Shadows. Why? Convenience. I'm already machine and saw Silent Shadows onliine often enough to ask to join. I consider this move a trial. I like SS's size but the maturity level (the few days I've been with them) is pretty low. But again, it's only been a couple of days and I've only met a handful of the SS operatives. Some were great, some were less great. Thanks all for expressing interest. Oh, and to the meros. Even sending tells when I spotted you online I still got shot at. This made it really hard to ask about your factions. Just an fyi if you're serious about courting those considering an org switch. -Blank

Hello Blank Frank, In response to the shooting. I was coding at Park East North with Demoana from DE when you and Petit opened fire on us. I asked to be left alone, and was killed. I never receiced a tell from you, unless you consider the Sniper shot for 500 damage a tell. But in any case its vector to each their own. Strykre01 The Corrupt Souls Clothing the Masses

Strykre, I know the incident you mean and I am sorry about that. For the record, I ran up to you both and was jumping around in a completely non-threatening way to get your attention. I had no intention of attacking. I didn't send a tell as I didn't see a need, the environment didn't seem hostile. Petit3 attacked you without provocation, even after you said you were coding and asked that we refrain. I don't know why she was so set on fighting but once the fight was on, I couldn't let it be two on one so I backed her up. I agree, this was probably my best opportunity to chat with you guys and it was blown but I assure you, not by me. It's not that I wont fight Mero's, it's just that wasn't my hope for that encounter. As for the sniper hit, I couldn't figure out why my hits weren't doing much damage since I returned to MxO either. Shortly after this incident I discovered all my stats were at base level. My guess is that at some point during my absence from the game everyone's stats were reset? I don't know but I've set them to where they should be now so whatever faction I end up in, I'm hoping I'll be of more service than 500 on a sniper hit. If that stat issue doesn't account for it I'm truly screwed. -Blank

lol. I meant Petit3 where I wrote Demoana (I've edited the error). But that aside, I meant what I said. I didn't plan for Petit3 to attack. -Blank
