It's been nearly one year that I'm playing MxO, but I've never seen this before:
That's one of the hostiles I found in the mission area of a Merv courier mission. So my question is: is it something usual?
I've seen this a couple of times before. At first, I found it comical. Now, I just don't really pay attention...It'd be nice if it got fixed, but it's probably one of the more insignificant problems atm.
I actually quite like it. I always imagine my Operator Ernest scrambling for an identity check on the hostile.
This used to happen all the time with some enemies.. even supposedly named gang bosses. *shrug* It is a humourous bug though.
That reminds of the random level 1 spawn of "Some Person" that showed up in Beta (in the month prior to launch):
Haven't seen that since prior to SOE. It was common then.
This happens sometimes, though not often. I've heard it's something to do with getting to the mission area before the NPC identities have loaded but I couldn't say for sure.
That happens whenever an NPC doesn't have a name assigned to them.
I've not seen it before... at all. If I do, I won't be bothered too much, I'd do pretty much what Tranque said and use my imagination about the operator having trouble identifying the person.
wow that *still* happens? lol yea its been a while from i seen that but it was a year or so ago while leveling on vector i seen it ^^
