Who'd you first interact with in Matrix Online?

Ok, stealing this topic from the Vector boards and modifying it a bit.

Who do you remember first meeting and interacting with? I ask that since I met a lot of people when I first logged in, but can't recall names, however I do remember the first people I interacted with and learnt a few things from them.

Now I joined having a friend from before already here, Maius, so though he was the first known friend here, my first friend from MxO as such, was Contrapositive.

I actually jacked into the game and saw a load of players, one showed me how to hyperjump and gave me free info and a weapon, I really don't remember this guys name, but was thankful for his help. I spent the first few levels just getting used to things and eventually was farming for keys at about lvl 10. I was getting killed by about 5 mobs on me and Contra came up and nuked them all, then just became friends from that.

zion4eva recruited me at lvl 6 in mara central when he was a fresh 50. He helped me a lot, we missioned together and I soon became his FM.

Great dude ... He showed me a lot of tricks in the game, because at the beggining I was on my own doing mishs and stuff and didnt really know how the game worked in detail. I learnt all my CR1 tricks from him ... Sad he canceled his sub =(

Ah...the memories.

I remember it perfectly. After some days of wandering around like a loner, my first real "interaction"(and frienship) was with that old bastard called Peyce. We were two noobs in the simulation, trying to find how this thing worked, so we learned together.

After that, I met the old Faolon and the famous xRageX...and the rest is history. At least, Faolon is still here...and he stills owe me a beer.

I got to level 12 by myself apparently, but still a noob didn't realize there were other orgs and just kept trying to level doing only zion missions. Got stuck trying to finish one in westview. So I teamed with a sn0wmo who was zion at the time. He recruited me, but again I was a noob at the time and had no idea what was going on or how factions and crews worked.

Then i got recruited by the little kid playing Edmiseta, met Guardians of Unreality and prole and was merv from then on.

Prior to getting in to MxO BETA, I was already part of the Collective and good friends with the members. The first person I came across was DJSandman who coincidentally jacked in to Tabor Park West about the same time that I did. Amongst a sea of names his was first I recognized.

After my PC Upgrade, Sattakan and I went on a Demon Army killing spree until finally making our way down to Kedemoth where we hunted the Furies.

I think the first person I interacted with was an NPC... in the n00b loading area. I remember the first time I was there, I ran around the room trying to "loot" whatever I could and wondered why the NPC wasn't answering me back. And that TV that yu used to have to watch all the videos for before fighting Bob. What a headache.

My first real interaction with another redpill was in the Camon Heights hideout. I was there soloing and out of nowhere got invited to a team. I open my team window to find NECgammer and another chap named Wolf1. They immediately asked how I was doing, to which I responded with my most normal misspelling, 'goog." That kind of broke the ice for us all, and I had to live with that "goog" stuff for months. We fought our way to the bowels of the hideout and all got the boss drop before leaving (remember how quickly they used to respawn? Over the next few nights, we formed The Glitch Crew (/vomit) and then combined with a quiet little lass named Kutikiri to form The Seraphim. My two crew mates eventually left, and I reformed my crew to the Crazy 89's and only recruited female rsi's who looked exactly like me. You would be surprised how many fit that description back then...

The first time I interacted with anyone in mxo was in the pre-order headstart we were given. It was a guy called LordG who I met in Lemone when i was killing mobs and wandering around aimlessly, completely unaware there were missions or anythign other than killing mobs to level up (Doh!).

He later convinced me to join my first ever MMO guild "The Guardians" great times even when I was a Zion. From then on MXO has kicked *CENSORED* and I have only quit once for 2 days........... I have survived every single person in that faction who all left to play EQ2 or quite due to lack of interest.

Wow that seems so long ago................

I've had a few first "interactions" with various people in MxO, but I stayed out of the scene for a while, as it was my first MMO, and I wanted to choose a faction I would be comfortable with. Nothing to do with RP--I watched the movies, but I didn't really know each side's standpoint (well, Zion's was obvious). I ended up looking for the members of the Sirens, because an "All female RSI group" sounded fun, and being a casual faction sounded good for me. I didn't join them for being Merv, I honestly had no idea what that meant, or what they stood for.

Anyway, I first remember looking up Krayzzed, and I then met up with Kayaus, Cycles, and Venya. They invited me into their faction with open arms, gave me some clothes (Buffed ones! I think I didn't know they were around, or important at the time) and brought me to my first Hideout.

It was pretty fun, and I made some great friends at the time. After that is when I started meeting the rest of the community, and bringing together the Sirens as they were then.

When I first started in Beta my initial hardline was Moriah East. For a couple of days I didn't see ANYBODY I honestly thought that I was the only player in MxO. Then one day I was at the Moriah East HL and this guy named Kenge was there, we got to talking and he helped me out on how to properly use the abilities and how to hyperjump and some tricks to fighting. We've been friends ever since.

The first guy was Eddie002hands or something. He is mainly Syntax, but he was Dark Infinity at this time. He did recruit me, but not knowing anything I left the faction, I didn't know that I had left really :s

I only learnt this info the other day when he came to my vent.

My work schedule prevented me from EVER having any of the old LET interactions. So I never got to experience that, despite being around since Beta. I ran around factionless until about June or July when I joined Foxxdie and his band of cronies on the Revenant. SMILEY

I don't remember exactly who the first person I intereacted with was. I remember being on a bench, possibly at Tabor W and talking to some guy who gave me 500k which at the time seemed like loads.

I do however remember when I joined my first proper faction. I was level 6 and trying to mish, which I sucked at. I ended up running by Magog West and stopped to ask if one of the 3 people there would mind helping me finish the mish I was on. They were Narcissia, NinjaScroll and Xzula. Instead they told me to quit that mish and I could go with them since they were about to start. Kinda went from there really. I got a bit of a grilling as we went and when they were done they invited me to join Aeternus Eternus.

one of the 1st names of any importance that pops up for my is DagYo. Im sure he wasnt the 1st, but one of the 1st. But the 1st poeple I literally hung out with were Loriann14 and TheRealDrNick, whom at the time were co-leaders with Cyclopse of the faction Tetsu Styndicate, whom went forward to create the infamous Machine Radio. Good times back then in my weekend warrior days.
