...It's no secret what the Cypherites want. They just like to dance around the truth.
Pretend they have some secret agenda, some higher calling that's so much nobler than their real cause.

    We all know what their real cause is.
Killing innocents. Killing crews. Killing anyone else they brand as a threat to their goals, which usually just happens to be more killing.
They want to destroy Zion, and kill all other red pills, regardless of affiliation. And some of them aren't shy about it.
Of course, that's never going to happen. I'll make sure of it if the thousands of others don't.

You obvously have a very limited world history as the murder(or assassination in this case) of one person was the spark of the first world war. No I believe murder can get you exactly what you want if you know how to use it.

Killing innocents? We've only hit military targets in and out of the Matrix. Its a war, people die... get used to it, its only going to get worse.

I've always seen assassination as an elimination of a singular, powerful entity. MLK, Malcolm X, JFK, RFK, John Lennon, Medgar Evers, Ghandi, they were assassinated. Who are you assassinating?

Oh, WWI, if I recall, roughly ten million soldiers died in that war, all because one Archduke got popped by an Bosnian Serb who wanted freedom for his people from the Austrian-Hungry Empire. Soon though, it turned into a complete balls up, and Sarajevo and Ferdinand were barely memories. Ten Million dead because of one dead Archduke.

A waste maybe but none the less that one murder created a way for someone else to attempt at getting what they wanted. Yes it was a gamble but war always is. You either win it all or loose it and as I said it can get you exactly what you want if you know how to use it.

As for your last statment that is very true and i doubt they have a reason for it. Also I guess for all "politcal" reasons I should state that while I believe murder, war, and anything associated with death of a person or peoples can be a means to get what you want I am in no way saying that it should be used in an effort to do so.
