Well i have noticed today that my loading areas total space caps out at 495 slots, yet the meter that was implemented recently shows the total to be 520. I am just wondering is this a glitch or is there 25 slots of upload space reserved for something, its just slightly annoying to think you have space for abilitesand then get the upload failed message due to full loading area.

Now I hope they open the last 45 places and not just change the 520 to 475

it caps out at 480 with me, and hella annoying. the only solution i found is to clear up some space by removing frags and bits f/e awakaned subroutines, codebit 8's etc

I believe part of the explaination is the fact that the 'styles' for each treee take 1 space each. Has anyone tried counting their stuff? Maybe the meter doesn't reflect something.

I am pretty sure you have to include the abilities that you have loaded in this total. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to switch trees, because certain trees take more memory with less abilities loaded and vise-versa. IE. Someone loading all awakened abilities (costing one memory slot a piece) and a single tree, can load more abilities than someone with no awakened stuff loading a ton of different trees, in which many of the abilities cost 3 or 4 memory slots. Hope that made sense....

hmm , but each ability , regarless of memory cost take's 1 slot in the code archive, also i think the loaded abs don't leave the code archive when there loaded.

But what I'm saying is that different loadouts can use different amounts of abilities depending on what abilities are loaded, therefore giving you discrepancies between individual players and how much space they have left.

No, when they are loaded, they DONT appear in your archive, I had an ability loaded and found a fully leveled one on the MP very cheap, so instead of paying to level mine I bought the abil and swapped it on the MP for the price I just bought the fully leveled one. Anyway, when I went to the LA to retrieve the unleveled one I couldn't find it, I was looking for a while then I unloaded it and found it.

If an ability is loaded, it will not appear in your code archive. Therefore, the system has to keep however many abilities you have loaded free in the code archive, otherwise you would not be able to unload down to awakened due to space constraints.
