Hacking while Shooting??

So I've noticed on EP that you cant have your gun tab active(i.e. where it keeps shooting) and launch viruses at the same time. Is this intended or is it a bug?

(I posted here cause I'm not sure what EP forum applies.)

Hrmm, if I remember right I've been able to launch Hacks, just that if I get interupted (I'm guessing) it drops me to SD style.

It is really bothersome though having Hacker style and SD switching around all the time on me...

I think the styles are indeed what answers the OP's question. When you launch Hacks you automatically equip Hacker Style, when you shoot your gun as a Hacker you switch to Self Defense. So I guess since the don't want the system to choose FOR YOU what style it uses you always need to manually activate your gun again in between hacks if that's what you want to do.

I can confirm that this does happen and sent a /bug in on it.

It should definately be fixed as is this cripples hackers pretty good (which is bad).

This issue still seems to be on live, however not quite as bad... not sure why. Every now and then a hack will actually go through it looks like... but still does it plenty enough that you can't free fire and hack. (Hence I eat alot of IS because I must chose to free fire or hack. Manually firing and stoping to hack makes it all much more complicated than it should be.)
