I can't wait to buy this album. Survivalism (from the band's MySpace) sounds pretty tight.

Beside You In Time (DVD) also looks unbelievable. That trailer is mesmorizing. I had to watch it three times just because I typed this message.

Yeah,I had the good fortune of going to two shows in the With Teeth tour era... one with the screen (Nov 05) in Boston, MA and one with the new LED light screen (June 05) in Hartford, CT. That tour was the pwn and I have high expectations for the BYIT DvD. If only I had a Blu-ray or HD-DVD player...

Btw, apparently Trent and co played Survivalism live in yesterday's Barcelona festival show.

This thread freaked me out a little for a second there. It immediately reminded me of a song I wrote years ago, during my teen-angst inspired 'creative' period. I entitled it; "My Violent Soul"

I've never been hugely into NIN. I liked a few songs from the 'With Teeth' album, but neither 'Survivalism' nor 'My Violent Heart' did a thing for me.

I'm a huge NIN fan. I've loved all their releases so far (but personally prefering Broken) and I also really liked With Teeth, so no, I'm not among the "Screw the new stuff, go back to Pretty Hate Machine sound!" crowd. I've heard 4 songs so far on various industrial radios and my initial opinion is that it's in the same vein as With Teeth, but maybe weaker. We'll have to see!
