Well I was wondering how everyone felt about the PvP level at level 16. I think maybe it should be raised to 33. There, You can basically taake care of yourself and know your way around. I think 16 is a little too low since your an easy target for ganks. Also, it doesn't help when your in Westview or International trying to do missions while being restricted in those areas while agents come and savagely shoot you to death and then BAM! You get ganked while trying to do a missions in an area where agents gank you and local gangs aren't too friendly. What does everyone else think about this?

That would allow for unflagged rezzers. Not a great idea.

Perhaps 20, since by then, you should know what the hell you're doing.

i partly agree here at 16 your nothin more than a walking CQ, 33 though
is a little high and for a 50 still a walking CQ so gank survival would
not change. only like its been stated lead to blue rezzers
i think ganking can be sovled with a CQ honor system

well if it was real life "matrix" nothing'd prevent anyone to kill a lvl 1, so you can be thankfull the game lets you safe till lvl 16.

No. I think 16 is perfectly fine. By 16 you've had time to explore Yuki and familiarize yourself with PvP areas.

I do see his point, but changing one thing always causes other problems....
Although, 16 is still a little low as al lvl 16 you only have very basic skills. If it were raised, however, I think using ANY special ability such as rez or even buffinfg etc. should switch on your PVP flag after lvl 16 e- ven if just to fight NPCs....
But as it is, dying isnt the end of the world, its quite exciting when a lvl 50 tries to gank you and you escape, lol.
The best compromise I can think for people who hate getting ganked is to have "safe" places for each org. Just like in the construct. Lets say a couple of buildings and a small area of land that have lvl 60 or so NPC sentries or something... not totally immune to an large invasion though but allow some protection. Thats where low lvls can hang about when they want to feel "safe".

I would rather have no minimum level but have PvP more involved. As in missions have real assassinations and killing the wrong guys can get you in trouble with your organization, etc.

What about restore RSI?
Totaly agree that lvl 16 is too low, however.. 33 may be too much..
How about 25/27?

Restore RSI leaves the person with no health and IS. I have seen Vectorites use Restore RSI on the person they killed just to immediately kill them again. It's all in waiting for the hostile player to leave the area before acception or just recon. I wouldn't mind the PvP level getting up'd a little, but 33 is too high.

I like this idea. That would allow for some cool pvp raids. Have a nice sized war area for some cool battles, but thats just my opinion... :smileywink:Message Edited by RedLink128 on 05.31.2006 03:04 PM

um... no
I think everyone over 5 should have to run for their lives. If
you don't like the way it is at 16, there's plenty of space over there
on Syntax and Recursion for ya

I agree. raising the pvp bar would defeat the purpose of playing a pvp server. besides, if its your first time on a game you never, ever play on a pvp server to start off with.
