With all the huge sympathy I have both for Tranque and Villemar, I don't buy the "I'm not rich, I can't afford" part.Let's see. I live and earn money in Ukraine, which is very far from being the richest country in the world and which is officially the hardest hit by the current economic crisis in Europe. And still, with a relatively small revenue - compared to the US and EU, where even a frankly mediocre job makes people earn twice as much as I do - I can afford paying 15 bucks per month. So no, I won't believe people out there in US or EU can't afford paying 50 cents a day for a game they want to play.In my eyes, it's not a question of possibility/affordability, but a question of willingness. It's quite understandable you may not want to pay this price for a game with no new content. But please, do not say you can't/ because that doesn't sound too honest.

This.

Just want to point out that if anything (and people should do this whether they have money or don't), that if anything we as consumers should expect a certain value for for their money. (This is why people don't pay 100,000,000 for a pair of Larn Sneakers, lol).
From launch until at the earliest Nov 2008, at the latest Feb. 2009, there absolutely was $15/month worth of content being provided if not more. Now? We are basically paying to develop The Agency for nothing in return.
So yes, if the need is there exceptions can be made. But money is tight, and if I had money to burn it might not matter as much, but I don't, so I have to look at spending my entertainment dollar more wisely. I am still trying to figure out where my $15/month goes, besides to develop The Agency.
First of all,
I can afford it, but I would rather not pay the price for what I am receiving (or lacktherof). If you must know my single mother lost her job and is scrambling to reinstate her business and I have a minimum wage job to recoup for losses and give myself some pocket money (which ends up being quite minimal and covers mxo). I do not care where you are from quite frankly, I do not think you are in any position to inform me of what is of prominence on my or my families budget.I pay because it helps me releive stress and for recreation but if it ceases to amuse me or relieves stress it isnt worth the money, in economic terms.
Secondly, any form of story creation tools would be a step in the right direction.
Every MXO player buy one share in SOE. Then give one person your proxy. That person shows up at a board meeting and votes the MXO players stance, presents our case to the board. Interesting how corporations can respond to "money," as wielded by shareholders.
Not as far fetched as it sounds is this idea. Just rather difficult to execute.
I don't know what to say, but I got a pretty picture of me when i was 3 months...

I do too.
Coincidentally it was also my reaction to walrus telling us that MXO's future is unclear.
Been like that since beta lol
Believe me, I am the last person to want to leave, I love this game, I adore the community, its just the aformentioned issues I will have if there is no change. To be honest, I hate all of the Other MMO's out there, I am not an elfy, galactic space type person, I prefer MXO because of the grittiness, I am not interested in COH or COV because I'm not interested in superhero/villain cliche, I stay with MXO because of the atmosphere, the RP, the Community, and I really will need some form of developers to be the foundation for me staying.

Bravo Tranque, my thoughts precisely, but delivered in a much nicer and more positive manner than I am capable of.

This is ridiculous, and I am with Tranque - except I'm not even giving it 6 days.

You know... much against my expectations in myself... I have a thought about this that might actually be worth y'all considering.
How about everyone who feels this way submits a /ccr or /bug and when asked to give a description of the problem encoutnered, enters their thoughts and feelings on exactly how our service providers are treating us?
They go to SOMEONE who works for this bunch of negligent gits, don't they?
