when i was playing the game and transported my screen went black for a while so i cut the game off and tried to log back in but it said i could becuz my character was in use....what in sams hell is going on...can u help me

Don't panic first of all, this happens to all of us at one point or another. 

First, give it about 5 minutes and try to log in again.  If i keeps giving you the message, PM TSR-ChrisL with this info, quoted from him:

"You need to PM me your station name, server, character and last 4 of the card for verification. Just a reminder please remember that I am only in the office monday through friday from 10:00 AM PST to 7:00 PM PST. I do try to get this fixed as quickly as I can though when I do receive a PM."

restarting your computer also works, well It does for me atleast.

now it seems like its not negotiating with the server so it just doesn't load and then afterwards it then says session timed out...logging out...but i PM him hopefully this can be fixed

Best better would probably to go here, clicking on the In-Game Support tab and filling it out.

another quick trick is create a charachter on another server and log onto it then back to your original charachter and server you were playing it seems to reset it that way also..

you know there is a ccr system ingame or from the website to get help with technical problems.. you dont need to post a thread everytime something wierd happens.

That's true but I've heard there's some kind of problem with the CCR system right now.  Plus I think most of the staff are off on holiday.

That always works for me too.  If I'm stuck and it says character in use, that means the server mistakenly thinks your still logged in when your not.   So then, I just log on to a noob alt on another server for a few minutes.  Then, the database realizes your on as NubAlt or whatever and releases your main.

The reason i bring it up is because the guy has created alot of threads due to issues he has ingames (which we all have). I just dont see the need to clog up the forum. If the CCR system is not working you can PM a csr on the forum too.
