Woop woop! I did try this back in November 2006 according to my account info, however gave up after a month due to running out of patience. However, I returned 2months ago, started from scratch and loving it, still a steep learning curve, alot to take in and get used too, but the new tutorial agents, help get newer people into the game alot more successfully then before.

I'm trying out SWG and Evercrack I and II. As big a fan of Star Wars as I am--I have to say that so far SWG sucks, big time. I'm holding out hope it gets better. I like Evercrack so far. Tried Free Realms. Not impressed. I guess it's okay if your into anime or like cartoons. It was too much like runescape for me. Looking forward to Stargate Worlds as I'm a big fan of the milieu. Signed up for beta testing, but haven't heard back from them. (Big Surprise!) But seriously, nothing will replace MxO in my heart. X

Me too, as my summer job is at a Boy Scout camp in the Sierras. After that, who knows? I'll check out The Agency if there's a free trial, but I don't expect that kind of game to hold a cohesive community or much storytelling potential. Star Trek Online has diverged too much from what it originally was under Perpetual for me to be excited about it anymore. I wanted to be just a Chief Engineer, crewing and running a starship with 5-10 of my closest guildmates. Now everybody has to be a Captain. Boring. The next thing that's a definite purchase is The Old Republic. From the previews, it basically looks like a ginormous Bioware RPG in the KOTOR vein, but with the option to team up with other people if you want. Hell yes, I will totatlly pay a montly fee to play 8 more KOTORs (one for each character class).

Right behind you. Well. Maybe. I'm not sure on a guild yet, although it would be nice to be alongside some MxO players.

You're more than welcome, man. It'll be interesting. I can promise that.

Me too. If a good portion of the Brood wasn't already committed to playing TOR, I'd totally consider an MxO guild. Phrack, do you think the game will let you have Rupublic (Jedi, Troopers, Smugglers) and Sith (Bounty Hunters) players in your guild? I think that would be weird considering the complete separation of the PvE experience and storyline.

Against my better judgement I may well be giving SWTOR a go, too.

Yeah, it's supposed to let Light Side and Dark Side members join the same guild. It would be wierd, but there's plenty of roleplay methods to support such a thing.

The Endless Forest, Anyone?!?!? That is pue, unmitigated sexytime. On a serious note, no ones mentioned APB. But be that as it may I dont see myself playing MMO's for a few years. Need to go Outside.

I'll be with the MxO'ers in SWTOR as well. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
