I was just told by someone in the game that once my trial expires, I will lose my current character. I have a 60 day game card I plan to activate the day before my trial is set to expire.

However, I want to know if I have to restart at that time or not.

If I have to restart I will just activate the card now, so as to not waste any further time developing a character I do not get to keep.

Can someone please confirm if I will be able to keep my characters, of I will lose them once the trial expires.

Don't know who told you that, but they're wrong. You can simply carry on with your current account after the trial.

you keep your account.  settle down.  If you have any issues take it out in the matrix or with the corporate giant that decided to charge you 15 bucks a month instead of the 10 bucks a month that it used to be to play this game.

Some dude name Mestiak told me on the Syntax... that I needed to wait until after my trial expired to join a faction. I told him it shouldn't matter cause I will be carrying over after the trial...

He straight up said, I would have to restart after the trial the was over.

Thanks guys for the info. Now I can go back to enjoying the game, I was so worried I would of had to start over.

What happens is that trial members will join a faction and then not play once their trial has finished.  He may have just been afraid of this.

Thats true... I tried to tell him I had a game card though, that i'd activate as soon as my trial expired.  Oh well, found an awesome faction without 'im ::shrug::
