How did this happen?

I recall logging in to the boards after 2 hours and having a page of new threads and replies to read, I recall the days where I only left the boards because I absolutely had to - never due to lack of material. I didn't always have to even leave the vector boards....

Is it simply the new boards being teh sux0rz? Is it in fact that massive numbers of hardcore forum folks have left or been banned?

I have no answer, but it depresses me that 20 minutes on a uni room computer is now enough to catch up on everything.

Sad times.

yeah I know what you mean, I can now goto sleep, goto class in the morning and get home and have about 15-25 new posts altogether on the forums, now i have nothing left todo except.....do my coursework SMILEY

After taking a 5 month hiatus, I think that was the biggest surprise returning. The message boards are dead compared to when I first started playing. It's not just Vector.

I miss the days of the Khaos posts SMILEY

On a lighter note, My level 17 (Machine) lasted 3 minutes in Mara C, a new personal best! lol Have to thank ILLFACE (again) for taking the time out to cut short any hopes of reaching 4 minutes SMILEY

Even with the day's of there being more posts, honestly was there anything worth reading that had thoughtful and insightful topics? Or do you just miss the "cry me a river sob stories", "im l337 and pwnin all you noobs bragadocio posts", "OMG HaX LooK At My SCREENsHoTS I SweaR Im NoT ExpLotING!".

To be honest, i don't miss any of that at all. i'd rather come see fewer posts, then have to weed through a bunch of rubbish.

I'm glad someone else noticed the lack of posts besides me. Even if I didn't post a lot, I liked reading the other posts. But I'm surprised no one posted any screenies of Thursday nights pre-patch party in Historical Dist N with Effie! I'll post some when I get home, then everyone can have a good laugh. ^.^

i could post one which happend to a lowbie machine of mine...but the guilty party just made their leaving thread not long ago...basically he accused me of being racist for using the term "pot calling the kettle black" and preceeded to call me the next "hitler" so...theres an example of how ridiculous it was lol.
