Yes I saw the show, there isn't much on telly I watch but Top Gear is one I regularly tune in for.
Clarkson & co do have a knack for annoying people but usually they limit themselves to caravan owners.
To annoy to an entire state is something else.

yeah everybody knows the deep south is the armpit of the country. i've never been to alabama though, I was actually pretty surprised the people were that 'true to form'...

That is trying to pick a fight though. If I were to go into a Pub and say Manchester United SOCCER team sucks big hairy balls I would expect some backlash too. Thats those peoples way of life and to say they are stupid for believing that is well stupid. If I would roll threw Saudi Arabia with a big *CENSORED* cross saying Allah is dumb Jesus FTW I would expect the same reaction from them too.

Yea, it was funny, and i hate hillbillys as much as the next guy, but that little segment just made me lose respect for thier show. Ive seen much of thier stuff on the internet and thought it was fun to watch. But what they did shows they are just as stupid and prejudice as the redneck hillbilly slackjawed MFers they were pokeing fun at.

Mr. Bergis ftw! I d/l'd those mp3's from ebaumsworld.com a while ago and they are off the hook funny.

Funny a couple of days ago a poster on the IMDB forums called me a "Yankee." I lol'd pretty hard at that one, funny how some people still can't get over losing a war 140 years ago.
