Well well, why not screw things up, if it results in better things? I say, as long as it works by the day we get it on live, I accept all delays.

You know, there can't be many people in the world that can claim to have broken the Matrix. Sounds like bragging rights to me.

Not surprised so not disappointed. I expect that we will see another delay come Thursday. As long as the patch comes out solid I'll be happy.

Wowzers. I'd like to address a couple things in this thread. 1: Better to break it and fix it now than having a catastophic failure on the live servers. 2: Updates are not all about YOU and YOUR timetable. They are to further the enjoyment of the Matrix for EVERYONE. Potentially game breaking bugs are FAR worse than any delays.... 3: Updates/patches have come out on time on numerous occasions. Do some reading before making fantastic claims that have no basis in reality. 4: I may complain about a lot of things... but delays to solve technical problems is not one of them. Then again... I've programmed more than my VCR ... As far as I'm concerned they can delay it as long as they want if we end up with code that actually works the way it's supposed to.

I will be a bit annoyed if it isn't ready by Thursday. Three delays is not so good. Better a few bugs (not the Crash Teh Matrix bug!) and a hotfix then to wait until everything is absolutely perfect.

Skyscream, I think there is a common logical flaw to the points 1,(2) and 4, as about all the other "better fixed later than broken sooner" statements. Of course, it's true. We can argue about the little bugs that only affect new features (like in case of 45), but I guess everyone agrees here that a delay is better than a patch breaking the game. However, you already take the occurrence of such a problem for granted. I think when people complain about this delay, they rather complain about the fact that it had to be delayed (or the occurrence of this problem), not the choice to delay it instead of breaking the game. They've also complained about the unpredictability of such problems forcing delays, and asked for less challenging announcement dates, or none at all. With point 3, you've hit the nail on the head. Numerous updates and hotfixes have been released on time - heck, one even wasn't announced at all (4.3, I think). The HJ bug was fixed before it was officially announced. So yea, people should get their facts straight. I think it's the same with the misconception of sandwiches always falling on the side with the butter - the chances are 50-50, but people only take notice when it falls on the wrong side. And before I stop getting what the heck I'm talking about, I'll wrap it up

Though, if they had planned any events for between 5.3.1 and 5.3.2, I still would prefer that they release the second one after 3-4 days. Just my opinion.
