Tom Rothman responds to fans request for Xmen 4

"Thanks so much for your email and the great letters you sent our way. In addition to what you sent, we have received many letters from other fans, also expressing their desire to see an X-Men 4 movie – so many, in fact, that it is impossible to respond to all of them individually. We would, however, like to take this opportunity to respond to you and all the fans and say: “We hear you!”

The next film in the X-Men series will be “Wolverine,” starring Hugh Jackman. You can expect some announcements about this movie in the very near future. And we fully intend to continue to make more “X-Men” films with both old and new muties. So fans can rest assured that they will have many opportunities in the coming years to see their favorite characters on the big screen."

So we have Woverine and Magneto on the way, I hope they can save the Xmen franchise, Xmen 4 ruined alot of the faith I had in the films.

Wolverine and Magneto are two of the more interesting characters for the X-Men franchise but the more i think about it the more i convince myself that most of the X-Men just simply suck.

Now Deadpool, that would make a cool movie.

When the say Wolverene i take it they mean its a spin off from the X-men series following that character alone ? it will be cool if so but TBH i rather see all the elements of the X men in a movie rather than have it based on one person.

Meh, I lost interest after the second film. I heard the 3rd one sucked from like 10 different people and decided to just catch it on TV one day.

X-Men 3 wasn't bad, if you don't mind characters (you may be attached to from the comics) getting severely messed with or killed. The producers seemed pretty intent on putting a nail in the coffin in that franchise.

Yes i do recall one comic where i believe he was mailed back to his employer in a box. He has it all though, style, cool moves and powers so if it was put in the right hands it would make a bitchin movie. Oh btw for those that don't know. He is still alive. The box didn't hurt him.

BTW Roukan i have the Deadpool mini series comics.

And Shinpseudo i think it's best that they don't try to linger with the series. No one wants to see an X-Men 12. There are plenty of other dudes they can make a movie about too. I do agree though that certain things probably shouldn't have been modified from the comics.
