Merv radio has been lacking a presence in the Matrix, and so several members of Familia Grigori, under the leadership of Kreis, a crewmember on board the Cherubim, have risen to this challenge. And so we present to you a blend of eclectic tunes (You might hear a Rolling Stones song followed by some trance, and then a remix of an Eighties dance tune might come on) and witty commentary on what's going on in the Mega City:

Hee, you're going to love the tunes we've got, we've got everything from kickin' soundtrack selections ("Kill Bill", "The Dark Knight" and "Grindhouse", among others) to mellow stuff for those quieter moments (last night seemed to be "the loooove theme" night, with cuts by everything mellow from Madonna to Loreena McKennitt). Keep an ear out for Kreis's "Rogers Way Fight Mix" -- best fight music ever!

We very much appreciate the support, everybody - we've been having a few technical hiccups as you might expect would happen with attempting to steal airwaves from the System, but overall we're pretty good to go. Programming that includes talkshows/commentary etc will continue to develop but in the meantime we have a variety of music to cater to many tastes - if you don't care for what you're currently hearing, just wait a few minutes, basically, cause it'll change.

I'm right now in the process of vastly expanding our musical library to even better serve your varied interests, so keep tuning in and checking back.

Okay, the server is down for repairs, but we should be back on the air and servin' it up rare for all you cool cats and squares who are paying the fare...

...and that's my first and last half-aimed attempt at being a rapper. I'll go back to teaching myself some Schubert art songs...

Due to real life issues -- financial diffculties and serious health issues on the part of our founder Kreis -- Ascendant Radio is going silent. We don't know when this will be back, but it was a good run while it lasted and we hope to reload this someday.
