Exactly - You're supposed to try and get to the bottom of things. You're playing into the trap. It was a matter of time before it was discovered this wasn't the real deal - and it's clearly a part of the trap. I really can't be clearer than that. Why do I even bother? It's all lost on you anyway. Go and die, It'll make my job easier anyway.

Though you never did mention what the correct course of action to "get to the bottom of things" is, but maybe that's because doing nothing about it isn't going to solve anything or make it stop either. That's like letting a civilian continue to impersonate a police officer because it may be part of a trick. Obviously it is, but letting him/her continue isn't solving a thing now, is it? heheh, and if we're so lost and pig-headed, why not just let it go? - Ezechiel

We Cypherites were right from the very beginning. It was an imposter all along, can we now allow Morpheus to rest in peace?

Assuming he is an imposter and ignoring him is just as crazy as watching and following his footsteps and listening to what he has to say, however little. To say one belief or theory of what is going on is better than the next is the only ignorant part about this ordeal. None of us know the Truth, the Truth will come in Time. The Time when we will all be fooled is coming.

Yes, keep following it. "It's got to be important" - exactly how the person behind the signals expects and wants you to act. Not that I'm *complaining* that you're falling for this - I'm thrilled that epn can be manipulated so easily. The fact that you're willing to walk into what you know to be a trap delights me to no end - instead of seeking the truth as you so desperately claim to, you instead choose to accept a lie. It's beautifull, really.
I wish machinists would stop making themselves look stupid, it makes my job too easy... Since WHEN did anyone ever take what the person in question said at face value? Since WHEN did trying to ascertain the source of a problem constitute 'falling for it'? Since WHEN did the person behind the signal want us to go out and uncover their true identity? Since WHEN was this person even trying to be found? For someone who claims to look at the evidence, you seem to be doing a poor job of it on this particular topic.

Science doesn't try to prove the thing is real. It strives to disprove that the thing is not real. Morpheus is either alive or dead. While the one is more likely, the other is more inspiring and worth hoping against hope. Irrational as hope is, it is one of the things that sets us apart from the Machines. If the historical records can be believed, then perhaps the Architect was correct in what he told Neo; it is simultaneously our greatest strength and our greatest weakness.

I can only speak for myself and my organizations goals, but we seek no hostility between Zion and the Machines. We are merely discussing the possibility that this RSI could be the true Morpheus or may very well be a fake. But neither should be ruled out at this point.

Glad he fixed that conection problem he had going for awhile. No... This is the real deal (or a real fake, at least). Apparently it was a walking, talking, breathing RSI. Um yeah, I figured that. Which is why im glad he isn't doing that whole jack in jack out thing he was doing for awhile. Real or not that was annoying as *CENSORED*. How are we gonna find out if it is him or not? Zion has already deduced that the signals were coming from this "Morpheus" found in the church. You'll find out if it's "him" by following him and waiting until he makes a bad move. Did anyone happen to catch this Morpheus's details? No codes or anything, a blank description.
It's an imposter, people, you need to keep that in mind. Just because you want it to be him, it doesn't make it him. We will corner this man, and put an end to his trickery once and for all. I'm sorry but this statement by Neoteny is missleading. There were no codes nor anything to decrypt. Details were as follows: Name: Not applicable. (same as Ghosts or any Main Character) ( double checked that as ghost was there as well) Handle : Morpheus Lvl : 60 True Believer. ((I couldnt take pics as Vista sucks **fig newtons**))
