I really hate being teased about this same guy in the real for so many months. I want to know!

I don't think any of the VO's currently are from the original actors. Before the game was released, Monolith hired most of them for their early cinematics and some speech in-game, most notably Laurence Fishburne and Mary Alice, among others.
This is also why Monolith was in such a hole financially at the start because it took big bucks to get these people in their recording studios and VO new lines.
There is no way Monolith had original VO's this far into the game, so they are just really well done by another.

Well - at least I can actually watch them this way. I can't get them to play ingame. Hmmm - Animation has improved and unique noir style has improved considerably. Now it seems to syncronize with itself instead of looking 1/2 assed and cheaply done with cheap Flash tricks. I am now impressed. And give this direction a thumbs up. And I am a very hard animation critic to please. I would still like to see ingame cinematics. It can be done you know - but with these improvements, at least it is getting better. So - when can we start seeing more blood in the game? Hmmmmm?

Thanks a bunch for keeping these up to date. Though, I have to say that when Monolith was doing the in game movies, I understood what was going on. Trying to figure out what has happened and what is happening now is a little more difficult than I would like. Sure wish SOE would just take the time to do in game movies instead of drawing them.
Anyway, thanks again!

Yeah, most of the stuff going on in the storyline is more easily understood through the critical missions. The cinematics now are more of...introductions to the subchapters.

I find the MxO entry in Wikipedia to have a good story summary (even though there seems to be some kind of pissing contest on that site for some reason)
