After a lengthy research, I compiled this list of commonly used abbreviations in the game and forums.

ACCT: Account.

Admin: Administrator.

AFK: Away from Keyboard.

Alt: Alternate Character.

AOE: Area of Effect

BRB: Be right back.

CB: Code Bit(s), sometimes followed by a number.

CC: Credit Card or Crew Chat.

CCR: Customer Complaint Request (?).

Char: Character.

Coords: Coordinates.

CSR: Customer Service Representative.

CQ: Combat Quality (point attributed for the most damage in a pvp kill)

Cyph: Cypherite(s).

Dev: Developer.

DN1: Data Node 1.

DOT: Damage over Time.

DT: Downtown.

EFK: Extreme Falling Kick.

EPN: E Pluribus Neo.

EST: Eastern Standard Time.

EULA: End User License Agreement.

FC: Faction Chat.

FTW: For the Win.

GF: Good Fight.

GM: GrandMaster.

GMT: Greenwich Meridian Time (UK timezone).

Hax: Hacks.

HJ: Hyperjump.

HL: Hardline.

IBL: In Before Lock (not recommended).

IC: In Character (rp term).

IL: Interlock.

INT: International District.

K: Short for OK.

KFGM: Kung Fu GrandMaster.

LE: Live Event(s).

LEC: Live Event Character.

LESIG: Live Event Special Interest Group.

LET: Live Event Team.

LFG-LFT: Looking for Group/Team.

LO: Liaison Officer.

LOL: Laugh out Loud.

MA: Martial Art(ist).

Mach: Machine(s).

MC: Mara Central.

Merv/Mero: Merovingian.

Mish: Mission.

MXO: Matrix Online.

NP: No Problem.

NPC: Non Playable Character.

OB: Ookami Batsu ;p

OOC: Out of Character.

OMG: Oh My God.

OMW: On My Way.

Org: Organisation.

PE: Player Event.

Pls/Plz: Please.

PST: Pacific Standard Time.

PvE: Player v Environment (non player entity).

PvP: Player v Player.

PVPer: A player involved in PvP.

PW: Password.

QA: Questions/Answers, Name of the test server.

QFT: Quoted for Truth.

Rec: Recursion.

Rez: Resurrection (revive).

RICH: Richland.

RP: Roleplaying.

RPer: Roleplayer.

RPPVP: Player battle involving roleplaying or part of an RP event.

RSI: Residual Self Image.

SKC: Sidekick combo.

Sig: Signature.

Sim: Simulacra, Simulacrum.

SOE: Sony Online Entertainment.

Sploit: Exploit.

Sub: Subscription.

TC: Team Chat.

Tourny: Tournament.

TOS: Terms of Service.

TP: Tabor Park, Recall (teleportation).

UM: Utility Master.

CCR = Customer Care Report
GM = Game Master (from other MMOs, really, but still could be cause for confusion)

FpM - Female playing as a Make RSI (like that ever happens)

smg(s) - Sub-Machine Gun

TBD - To Be Discussed

TBA - To Be Announced

TRB - Three-Round Burst (newer one I've seen more of recently)

HP(s) - Health Pills or Health Points (seen it used for both)

HB/TB - Health Booster / Tactic Booster

CT - Combat Tactic

VD - Viral Defense (was used more before CR2 as Viral Deflection)

UM - (Usually) Upgrade Master (though Utility Master works too SMILEY

)

FM - Force Multiplier

DE - Death Effect

PB - Pandora's Box
