Soe Launcher going live ?

i got a patch update for the soe launcher today seems like a really nice patch so far theem seems to run a lil faster n smoother to me i noticed though that the beta has been removed so will this be live with the next patch then?

Interesting... though I don't use it since I only play MxO.

yeah i keep it up when im not in game just to keep an eye on whos on line and when im on diffrent servers but the update is pretty nice

well if this gets implemeted we will log in through here then it will bring up the other launcher but will just have to pick what charchter we wanna jack in

Still freezes/crashes for me whenever I use it.... dozens of characters with hundreds on buddy list each :/

Ah, I've been waiting for the next big update. Can't check it out till I'm home, though. I'm guessing the execution still sucks.

I'd love to know what they've been working on all these months is nothing's improved very much.

It still brings up the normal launcher to select Characters though doesn't it (I installed it on release and very quickly went back to the normal launcher to wait until they fix a few things such as the friends list etc...) so instead of one program opening up the game program, with the SoE launcher it'll be a program opening a program to open the main program. So unless their plan is to bypass the normal launcher when it's finally out of beta (and if it has decent skin settings relevent to the game selected) I'll stick with the original as long as I can. I'd prefer a simple and quick login to a fancy launcher with bells and whistles, most of which would probably relate to other games...

Oh, I use it for spying on the game without launching MxO itself. It's good for seeing how many people are in-game and is as close to the old out-of-game AOL chat as we're ever going to get.

But for those functions, the launcher is way too bloated, way too slow and... Why is it made in Flash?!

It is still in Beta, just a new beta version with some tweaks and fixes.

It is still in Beta, just a new beta version with some tweaks and fixes.

ah ok so do you have any clue when this goes live or the time table for it to go live?
