It's a great idea, GG, and it's kind of inspired me to do my own little desktop project.
But, just for some useful feedback, the bullet-ripple effect really works best when it is see-through (i.e. with a background that will be broken up by the ripple pattern) and when it is used in conjunction with a bullet. So, if you add a bullet at the end, truncate the ripple effect as it emanates from the passing of the bullet, and put your title behind the effect (which I see now is obviously what you intended to do), it will work.
Although, using the bullet effect for a Knife-Thrower wallpaper might take away from the overall effect. Maybe putting your title as a reflection in a knife blade would work better?
idk, it's your wallpaper, just throwing some thoughts at you.
Excellent ideas and work though! 9/10

I think its awesom ... maybe you should give the character on the left a trail affect... to make it look like its moving ..( runing towords the left maybe ?) like in this piccy i made ages ago.. With the Trail of my characters legs in the air..
I love the dark feel to the image its Cool.. especially the background.. Id be happy to have somthing like it as my wall-paper ^.^
Great start man.
I like the whole concept your trying to do here. What I think would be cool to add is a NPC whos been hit with Neuro, and possibly trying something with that animation used too...with a motion blur effect on layers you can make it look like live action.
Looking foward to how these ho
Oh I prefer the 2nd to the Wolverine style one.
o_O You changed the original wallpaper! I like what you've done with this version, although if you ever feel the need to go back to that original pose (ala Wolverine with the knives) you should. It had a nice concept. But, this has more action, movement, etc. For some reason I keep getting the feeling that the throwing knife/bullettrail should be facing the opposite way. A composition/movement thing I suppose. Maybe play around with putting it near the bottom where the black space is.. but i'm not sure how well the bullet trail effect shows up on black.

Yeah I changed the wallpaper, cause the wolverine style had no action -_-
