Xbox 360 price to drop to $299

It seems like Microsoft will be cutting the price of the 20 GB Xbox 360 to $299. This would be down from $350. Hopefully they drop the price on the elite, as well. I was actually about to buy a 360 when I saw this. so I'm excited to see a price drop.

Original sources said it would happen July 6th, but the Kmart ad that was leaked says it will start on July 16th. And that would be E3 week. Which makes pretty good sense to me.

Nah I dont feel a stitch different about having bought it more expensive. I think the iPhones problem was that they are pretty *CENSORED* obvious about the ways they nab money from people. I mean do you Honestly believe that they JUST found the way to make the internet fast on the iPhone and are marketing the new iPhone 2.0 due solely to the fact that that *just* found a way to make fast iphone internet?

iPhone had a cheap slow internet, sold that off for a high price

Dropped the tag down a lot, more people bought it.

Suddenly invented a faster Iphone, which people are going to eat up en masse. Not only that it has a higher plan pricing.

Nah unless they drop it down to something drastic like 100 bucks, I wont feel as stupid as the iPhone consumer did when theirs dropped drastically.

300's not bad. That's about the price of a PS2 at launch. I'll have to thinka bout getting me one of these.

Too bad I already got Rock Band for my PS2.

That is good, hopefully now I will be able to afford my second 360, the release console I have now isn't doing to well, tray jamming, huge black mark on the top when I dropped a 32" TV on it.

It still works, but now I have a better option for when it kicks the bucket.

Get a 360! It's pretty *CENSORED* cheap now, and get xbox live aswell, that's the best buy you'll make with regards to an Xbox, endless fun.
