We understand that WB hold the rights to MxO and SOE is not the main owner. Is there any other company out there that would develop MxO or would WB/SOE allow it to be passed over to the players? Any Ideas for Alternate Investors In MXO Keep it clean Guys especially with the rate Threads are seemingly hitting the bermuda Circle and Vanishing!

Obviously, one would have to find people interested in spending money on the licensing of an MMO, with the added catch that they won't actually own the IP. SOE, with SWG, MxO, and now DC Online, is probably the biggest player in this investment market, but others have tapped it too; Cryptic with the Star Trek IP, and Funcom with the Conan IP. The only way this game will be saved from the sorry state it's in now is if a group of fans turn out to be investment bankers with a ridiculous bankroll to blow, or if the Wachowski brothers release something new in the franchise. Which is probably what SOE is hoping for.

Considering the EPIC fail that led us to this point, that would prolly be something that SOE would think is more than we deserve, but on the other hand if we could get someone else looking at us as a vialble investment, it would be worth stayiing around to give the new team my blessings.

The Problem is the license fee i think. I dont know how high it would be, but for MxO it would be a very high price i think. So the most other companys in USA/EU are only publishing stupid korean MMORPGs, cause they are cheap. But we can checkout how other Company maybe have the money and the interest : - Outspark (www.outspark.com) - NCSoft (sure korean guys, not the best idea i know..) - Lith (would be great, but i think there is no chance for it) Do you know other Companys too?

Could we maybe do a myFC model where the members took each paid 35 quid each and took over a club, they now own the club as part of a trust. I think this could work?, do we have enough people intrested to make the purchase price? It could even open the game to people who want to strip companies out.
