The intruder is "fishing". By rounding up as many people as possible and ask random questions he hopes to hit "Bingo" to what he actually wants. Usually you do that on forums, but I guess it works better if he turns up personally.

That means that whatever the real reason why he asked those questions is still hidden to us and his interest into this conversation was superificial. One could easily get the feeling from him, since he took out random information, said something in "mhm... interesting"-mannerish fashion, then went on to the next question. He was pushing on with his fishing.

What is he looking for?

You know what would be a cool event? A sort of.. hm, riddle-labyrinth.. Answer the riddle or question right and proceed through a gauntlet-type thing. Is that feasible? eh who knows.

At least some of you realised he was just pumping you for information. The rest of you were happy to present him with whatever he seemed to want. I have to wonder why? In fact I can guess why but it looks like he has no interest in helping you or anyone except himself. So please keep on furnishing him with information, it seems that some of you don't care what his real intentions are and how they could effect everyone inside or outside the simulation. You'd really kick yourselves if your 'help' came back to bite....

Mind you... he did give away some subtle details which I'm surprised noone asked him about.... Whether they were his real beliefs or just an attempt at another avenue of discussion which noone appeared to notice remains unclear....

((Oh for a really good spam filter, hell even a basic one would do. I'd say Rarebit maintained considerable constraint by not ignoring some people in that event....))
