Account in use error

I just tied to delete a character from my account and the launcher froze..... I'm thinking here we go again because exactly the same thing happened around xmas and I could use my account for 5 days.

Anyways, I left the laucher for a few mins and I got an error message saying something like the deletion had timed out and the launcher sprang back to life......Wooo hooo!!! you're thinking but I'm still getting the "your account is already in use" error even though the deletion timed out.
