I think that's what that one broken part of the bridge is for. It's hard to tell the distance from that faraway of a shot.

I also kinda think it's an archivist now...It'd make sense why there's no HL's. They may not have been added yet though if they're ever coming. Rarebit got in his pigeons and leaves, it looks like. Also, Rarebit...were you actually in the office that early? Or just sending from home?

I'm still really hoping for a new district, even if you can only access it by the white hall style of transport. The area looks too wonderful and detailed, and looks like it should be part of the city, to be an Archive.... My fingers are still crossed for a district... I thought I saw a tiny part of the bottom corner of a HL in one image... but I was probably hoping too much...

Waaait a minute. It can't be an archive. Why would Rare have added all those benches if it were an archive? We'd never get a chance to sit down if we're flagged! I can't believe they were added for purely aesthetic purposes; the sheer number of benches is bordering on the absurd. SMILEY

Will we be able to run regular missions in this area?

I personally feel its either an extension of an existing district (although there are many places it could be added too) due to what was said about its size or a new district entirely (that may be added to at a later date).

It wouldnt make sense to have a construct that basically functions like a district.  I thought the constructs were supposed to represent previous version of the simulation?

Hmm...it'd be interesting if it was an archive but able to have missions.

EDIT: It looks like they tried to use every already made building/area that were uncommon or not used in this area. I love the uneven terrain, it's definitely something the rest of the city missed out on. So far, we've mainly seen pics of the area facing the water, I wonder what ends the area on other sides? Also, if this is a construct, that light pole out on the water could be a spawn point. I'm still trying to figure out why that's there.

There's a common misconception with constructs and the "Archives".

A construct simply means any world not connected to the main simulation.  Technically, you could call the Matrix its own construct.

The Archives are named so because they represent previous versions of the Matrix.  They are Constructs, yes, but Constructs themselves don't adhere to that rule.

So technically, this could be a construct.  Hope that cleared it up.

But if it was a construct, why would an Archivist be in there?

Right.  I wasn't saying this was definitely just a construct of some kind.  Who knows, I see a couple ways this could be an Archive.  But don't forget that Archivists have alot of information.  This doesn't necessarily have to be an "Archive", in the sense of a previous version of the Matrix.  It could be something the Machines never finished, etc.

Break that down in 'blonde' terms. SMILEY<img mce_tsrc=" />

SMILEY<img mce_tsrc=" />

Construct = Any separate world (The Dojo and Jump Programs from M1)
Archive = A construct based on a previous version of the Matrix (Yuki, Sakura, Ashencourte, etc.)

Construct does not necessarily = Archive

The terms should not be used interchangeably.
