Ok, I am just a bit upset that myself and others are finding a whole lot of Enhanced Archer Fedora's (White), and Enhanced barrelhead gauntlets (Crappy Green trimmed gloves) all with different buffs.  Do we or do we not have other fedora's/hats, and gloves that could have been used??  At last count I had like 4 different Enhanced Archer Fedora's and more or less the same amount of barrelhead gauntlets.  Whats the reasoning behind this??  I mean c'mon...   Another gripe I have is with a new enhanced stree wrangler cowboy hat with 2% melee accuracy buffs.  I dunno about you, but I don't  know of ANY martial artist living or made up that uses a cowboy hat.  What about buffed headbands like the NPC's from the pandora's box?   I cannot think of any other reason this was done than laziness or rushing.   Please have a look at these and please address this problem.   This needed to be thought out a little better than what was done. I am at work right now and cannot post pics but I think everyone knows what I mean.  There are brownish fedora's than can use some loving with buffs and maybe a color change to BLACK.  Oh yes, and PLEASE make a better set of martial artists gloves and hats! The fingerless gloves should be for martial artists PERIOD!   Oh and I do not enjoy wearing cowboy hats as a martial artist, so can we get some headbands or some other hats befitting a martial artist.

Walker Texas Ranger is not a martial artist.   He is a shadow of his former self, and he doesn't count in this conversation.  The only Chuck Norris I remember battled Bruce Lee, not b-rated bad guys.  Please do not deviate from the topic please!

I have about 6 fedoras, 5 street wranglers, 5 pairs of barrelhead gloves all vll 46- 50 all with different buffs, and that's just the male stuff.

I get the impression that it's a joke, remember when we complained about everyone looking the same wearing the same clothes ? yeah well look what's happening here. At least I hope it's a joke.

it would have been nice ot have some more variety than this, but I'm just glad we have more options in clothing at lvl 50 than before.

Seriously I did think that was the joke with that hat made by the devs... they are crafty like that.

I dont think it is laziness.

It has things to do with the memory or something i cant rememer the proper term, but why do you think that:

Sparkling Fedora and Enhanced Archers fedora are the same thing
Avero Patterned Shoes and Seraphm Shoes are the same
Sakura Ninja Boots and Yuki Ninja Boots are the same

its just its the same clothes, some modified of colour but different buffs. It is to save memory space or so like you wouldnt have files such as fedora.mxo or sparklingfedora.mxo just as a litttle example you know not a proper filename...or is it?      assassinmask.mxo in my account..... Having them use the same names takes up less space in the strings file, and also decreases the amount of bandwidth used to download player details, which optimizes the game for minimal lag.

Also, I like this change - it allows you to craft an outfit that's decent looking with good buffs, and you also don't know how someone's buffed based on their clothing, unless it's a really common clothing item (hacker pants), and you could still be wrong.

Well I am sorry if you do not like it but I guess I need to remind you that this is the ITEM AND CLOTHING FEEDBACK forum.  I am merely pointing out a problem that myself and others noticed.  There are many other forums and threads you can express your displeasure over this community, but this is not the place.   If you have nothing constructive to contribute, please move on to another thread.

Thank you,

Like others said, it was made to help people mix and match clothing around a lot more, so everyone can come up with their unique look, and thier characters won't take a huge hit performance wise with PvP or other parts of the gameplay.

I believe the same clothing, different buffs idea is one idea they had put on track.

I guess in a way its cool they did it like that, but I wish they could have included the brownish/black fedora, and the black gloves.  I haven't seen a high level item for either of those two items.  Guess something is better than nothing in this case SMILEY

I would like to see another melee accuracy  buffed hat though.  A cowboy hat and a tigermaster's gi look HORRIBLE!  Buffed headbands anyone???

Ok, this problem has been around for ages, now while it would be nice to have
different clothing for different buffs you would quickly run out of clothing.
I noticed it because I have a spreadsheet of all or most of my clothing
Enhanced, armored, Shielded and even normal.  I do not have that list
updated with all the CR 2.0 buffs yet, but I am working on that.  The list
is in Analyzer order.

A FYI there are 2 Normal Dim Purple Ivora Slacks that are a
difficulty of 30 which have two different graphics, but the
same name.  I do wonder if there are more like that and I may
find that is true because I am decompiling most things for code
bits instead of selling them.
