I agree 100%. I would love to not have to re-level my character to get three extra stat points.

/sign I agree with Tytanaya that not being able to readjust the basic stats works against the hardcore Veteran MXO users who have been here supporting the game from way before day one

there not gonna reset them to zero. but that would be nice. and there not gonna give us the option to change char types..that would be complicated. but they will let us voice our opinion on these forums about it. i dont think the few stats really matter that much anyways. with the cap at 30 its not like someones gonna have more accuracy with the same loadout as you. cuz your gonna cap your accuracy as well right..and i doubt the extra 3% of vitality will make much of a diff if any. the whole system is more random now than it ever was so really..stats do not mean as much as they did in the old system even though we are fed this lie. i dueled with my stats reset..meaning i used the rehack but didnt put my points back...and still almost beat the guy. this game is all about damage resistance now. so put all your level 50 clothes with damage resistance on..max your belief and focus...and get out there and have fun.

/sign I feel it's only fair... if you're going to change the entire system on us, it's important to let us fully change ourselves... Even though it's not nearly as important, I'd like to be able to change my RSI's apearance as well. But the stats are vital. I can't be as good as I want to be without a full overhaul as well...

why not throw the archetypes out and set a base of all attributes at 5 - give us the remaining points to distribute as we please?

This is very important to me. I leveled up Bayamos (my 2nd character) to 50 as full perception so he'd be most effective at MA. Now under CR2, Perception isn't good for MA, and I'm punished for my choice. We need a way to choose new stats.

Tytanya makes an interesting point. They could reset EVERYTHING to 5 (the lowest stat) - Take the points we WOULD have had and add them to the 49 points we get anyway.

Yep I've been saying this ever since they made teh very first changes to them a month after release. I am also for the idea of setting them all default to 5 and removing that starter classes.

I'm going to have to agree with the OP.
Also, I hate to be considered a "fanatic self improver" just because I wanted more vitality. I am insulted.Message Edited by ThePigeonKing on 03-26-200611:09 AM

I hope there some way the Dev's can facilitate this change! I definently don't have the base stats where I want them today.
