We are in hell, for what other description best fits it than skies that burn forever and the human race has become one giant battery. Shall we take a moment or are you ready for more? I'll not bore you with the full history lesson. In short, robots got smart, too smart, and got bored of being slaves. As it always goes, the master can never be the master forever. Rebellion got ugly, and the result can be summed down to one word, hell. But things aren't all bad. We humans got ourselves a little rebellion of our own. You know its kinda funny, they say time heals all wounds. Well, does that include severance? Doesn't matter now, cause recently a war broke out again, try not to act too suprised. Things got ugly, again, but beauty batted her eyes once more and out popped peace. Peace is a funny word, almost an oxymoron inside itself. For what does peace take to operate, to function, to exist? The answer is ugly, and I'll give you a hint, it ain't truth. You guessed it, war, and war takes peace. Ying and yang if you will, but I never was the symbolic type. Point is, we need strength. Lets face it, just like the hands on the clock do, time will continue to cycle repeating itself. What comes around goes around, what I'm trying to say is no one can stop the inevitable. If you think they can, well... you're wrong. But I will say one thing, amongst the rubble of burnt buildings in times of war and amongst the songs of peace there is a variable. Small and indiscriminate value that can't be determined but can be counted. It is based on randomness, but can be almost completely controlled. It chooses when to surface, and borrows when all is lost. What is this mysterious unaccountable variable? It's you, and it's me. It's the human spirit. It's the undying need to be useful. Sure we can't stop the inevitable. Time will come for war, and time will come for peace, but the variable X is what determines how long each will last. That is what we are here for. We are Protectors who have chosen to defend this time of peace. Once there was a time when this variable was uneven. Instead of a balance between good and evil, evil alone ruled without competition. But fate intervened at a most opurtune time. Neo, a simple man became a hero, and a legend. He defeated evil at a great cost. Through his self-sacrifice, we still live and breathe. He is the very reason you are here now. And that, that is who we model ourselves after. We are the Protectors of Neo's Sacrifice. We stand ready and willing for sacrifice as he did. We wholeheartedly believe in peace as he did.  This is where we are now. Ask yourself, is that something you would like to be apart of?

What have we been doing instead of making peace with the machines, and protecting the fragile true that The One paid for with his life?  We have been bickering. We have been fighting amongst ourselves. We have been wasting an opportunity that may never poresent itself again.

 

I am dissappointed with every single Zionist and Machinist operative who is not working to strengthen ties and protect the truce.
