Thanks to a friend at Uni who spends far too much time on b3ta. I normally ignore most links. But for some reason I clicked, and I'm glad I did. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=lk5_O...f_John_Williams

Was playing this properly for the first time last night alongside ExternalError, Odj and Windfaller. Expert was fantastic fun. We never actually managed to complete it due to poor health at the beginning of the second part. Well, we made it once, but Odj decided to shoot the gas canister at the top the stairs, setting the rest of us on fire, leaving him to get Smokered. Then Ex and Odj decided Friendly Fire was too good an offer to miss, and preceeded to take each other out. Was still bloody amazing though.

Since Burning Crusade I lost interest. Don't know why, don't know how.
But I don't see myself coming back any time soon. I have Moria to explore on Tuesday.

I intend to finish the game by the time I go to work that evening. Purely because my new PC turns up the next day and I can then play Moria. It's not because I'm loving the demo or anything, and really looking forward to the full game :s

Done the first two campaigns on Advanced Single-Player. Imo its much harder to complete single-player. The AI doesn't pick up molotovs or pipe-bombs. And it certainly doesn't know how to hold a building correctly. They just follow you like sheep to the slaughter.

You are kidding right? Season 3 introduced Desmond's future seeing ability and in turn his seeing of Charlies death, we finnaly found out what paralysed Locke, the introduction of Jacob and Ben shooting Locke because he can hear him, seeing how Ben came to the island and the ultimate demise of the Dharma Initiative, the five greatest moments of charlie's life and his last message from Penny to Desmond, we finnaly get to see the radio tower that was mentioned in season 1, the big turning point at the end of season 3 with Jack contacting the boat and Ben saying something along the lines of "This is the begining of the end.", also not forgetting the introduction of flash forwards. No suckage in season 3.
I agree that the content was good. But the delivery was poor. Far too slow, too many questions, too few answers. It just felt like they had lost the plot. Season 4 dealt brought it back up though very well. And the flash-forward. I worked out it too early and it spoilt the ending.

Certainly agree with #3 and #1. I certainly feel sometimes that I'm not levelling out of enjoyment in some MMOs, but just to get to (what I perceive as) the good stuff. And I am definitely getting bored of quests which are essentially just XP boosts for grinding. Sure there maybe some small RP reason for killing 20 boars and harvesting them, but its still grinding. Surely there are other ways things to do quests on. I'm not against killing stuff. But there needs a big RP reason, or at least it being part of the story.

I went to see this on Saturday. I enjoyed every minute. Really loved the story and the way it all worked. I would say I was disappointed with the ending. But then I would probably be more disappointed had it all worked out, or actually had some closure. I guess I just hate endings when I enjoy something.

That totally stinks of misinformation. He alledgedly assaulted his mother after she insulted his wife. The term "assault" in the UK (where the offence took place) also includes verbal assault. There was no physical violence of any kind.

Yeah. Got on last night. Had a nice wonder around, watched the new Watchmen trailer, played some chess, and chatted to random shims (probably). Looks nice, and I look forward to new areas, houses and items to be released. But for now its pretty nice looking and easy to use. Now, if only the servers would actually let me back on...

Yeah, but we're talking about influences and ideas that LOST got from the series. I don't think it would be right to say they ripped them straight from MYST and plopped them into their own story. Time periods and D'ni ages are similar topics and are a general link. We're not looking for exact matches here.

I'm assuming the time jumping stopped when Locke pushed the wheel back into place. Therefore they've spent numerous years ingratiating themselves into Dharma as they came to the island. Hence the camper van looking like new, and the suits. Its just a question of how long they've been there. Have to assume Dharma is still around, so it would imply the 6 have gone back in time, hence no crash. But then, that may negate my previous thought that the time-travelling had stopped. Gah, mind-fudge.

Yes Ben was at the marina. But, if I remember right, wasn't Ben told he could never return to the island? He seems to have his own game plan going on, so he's certainly going to be one mixing it all up. As usual I guess.

As with all book to film conversions, the book is far superior. Every single time. I enjoy the Harry Potter films but they miss so much, and further more restrict your imagination so much more. Its like they're telling you what Hogwarts has to look like or how people look. I got book 7 and read it thoroughly in almost one sitting. I found the mid-part a bit of a chore. I mean they did nothing for the most part. But, I'm glad I got past that. I really, really, really enjoyed the ending (even if it was 4am the next morning).

Degrees, for the most part, is a piece of paper that says you may know what you are doing. I dont have a degree its over rated. Plus you can buy one off the internet that looks legit.
The catch 22 I'm thinking more of is the fact they say you don't have enough experience. Yet, how the hell do I get this "experience" they speak of when they no one will actually employ me to gain some experience.

((Yeah, ignore the RL issues with TaeCross and his LESIG ways. You can't ignore the fact that he detonated code-bombs and destroyed his RSI. Those events are part of the story. Why don't you have a little fun with the RP instead of kicking down the idea? There isn't enough of this kind of stuff to start throwing it out before its even begun.))
His motives may have been questionable, his actions even more so. But at least he dared to act on his dream and his belief. Thats what we remember him for. Thats why we're listening. Current politics in EPN are less than satisfactory for many operatives. Those responsible for the tribute seem fed up too. Maybe its time we started listening.

How confusing. You say the signs are disrupting the bluepills perception of the simulation.
Couple of issues. 1) Why? They are no different to graffiti or posters on walls. 2) If the "person" making this "symbol" thinks like you do then why are they making the message? It not only disrupts the bluepills, but also furthers T+ and his followers message.
And when Rare posts in this thread http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/..._id=36300025337 saying it isn't LESIG or likewise, I have the feeling it has player event written all over it.
This is all to purely clarify matters...

Because I have no self-respect I've decided to find the worst pictures possible.
I was NOT drunk in all of them (which would normally be my excuse) but they all show my transition through uni.
One of the first pictures ever taken of uni. The two with the hair are some of the best friends I've ever made.

All three bottles were mine :S

We got these things free after performing the YMCA on the dancefloor at Flares (a club)
