Right now, i hate the way screenshots just save into the MxO directory. Is it possible to save them in a "Screen shots" Folder. Keeps them all neat i think.

Vendors have this and i think it would be great on the marketplace as well. It would save clicking "More" over and over again.

This is for people who feel that they want buffs to be removed from clothing so we can all freely wear what ever we like. If you agree with this then please post.

It should not be up to who ever wears the uglyist, most buffed clothing that decides who wins a fight.
right now on the test server i wear the following to keep me alive: Brown pants, Pink shirt, Green coat, Brown hat. Not nice to look at.

Having giving up my hardcore PvP days of Vector, i have just been through my first event with my new faction Fallen Horizon on the Recursion server. The story for this event it's self has been going on since December and is pretty good. I wont spoil it for you. Visit our forums for a good read. Linky.

Lola and Iron (Sorry if i missed anyone) put their heads together and produced a good event. The event it's self wasn't a long one but it's an on-going event, another link in the chain if you like. It had everything an event should have. A good storyline, role players,some PvP, and it involved all orgs. The PvP could have done with out hackers but that failed to spoil what was a good event.

After it was over i realized how good this game CAN be at times. A lot of people say there is nothing to do in The Matrix Online. Well, these people's imaginations are seriously limited. Just because things aren't laid out to you on a silver platter, does not mean there is nothing to do. If you feel this way then, if you can, step away from Mara Central hardline and get you and your friends to put together some kind of event.

The Matrix Online has a fantastic community which I'm sure most of you will agree. We have a lot of great thinkers here so there is no one short of coming up with an event or three.

So seriously put you noodles together and see what you come up with. It might be the best player run event ever! You never know. Get involved, get others involved and make this game something other than a graphical chat room.

What the hell is going on?

I have seen alot of sigs with Matrix code in them. How do you guys get it? Every time i try and extract the code from say a black backround it gets all messy. Any tips on extracting it using photo shop.

Tired of the current missions? Wish they were more omg i got to get 2 the hardline!!?

Well how about thinking your own mission up?

First state the mission type (Assassination, rescue ect)

Then tell us what the player would have to go through and if you wish, even put a little story in it.

I'll post mine later. you never know, if yours is good enough and the devs are looking for mission ideas, hey they might put yours in.

You know your self, you have one cool out fit, and another dull one for combat. This is not how it should be.

I've came up with an idea and i would like to know what you all think about it.

When MxO first wnt live, a few weeks in we got things like Neo's insight and the Zion hawrdware Requisition which we could activate via right click > activate.

I think this is how buffs should be.

Example:

You are camping Tengu and you get the drop. Instead of a Sakura Bandana you recive a piece of Hardware. Much like Neo's insight only with the Bandana's buffs. This way we can wear what ever we like and look cool with buffs.

But wait can't you just turn on every single buff you have then? Well no. The devs could then implement something like Types. You can't activate the same type but you can have up to a max 5.

Another example:

Take the Bandana again and the fedora. Both of these could fall under Type 1. You could not turn on two Type 1's at any time. Just like you can't wear two hats at any time.

Hats = Type 1, Shirts = Type 2, Coats = Type 3, Pants = Type 4,Shoes = Type 5,Tights = Type 6 (Female only)

You could also remove the Female or male barrier and make these buffs unisex, apart from Type 6. Unless some men like waring tights SMILEY

The reason i'm putting this here is bacause with CR2.0 its not all down to what you wear. BUT! I stll have to put on ugly clothing to help me take damage better so as i don't die in 10 seconds.

You know how good some of the MxO community are at making vidoes. Now that the tutorial is under reconstruction i think it wouild be a great idea if we were handed the chance to make tutorial videos for it.

There could be a basic close combat one, free fire, hacker, and more advanced close combat. Just like they have now.

I think 1 or 2 Melee Free Fire Abilites should be added to each MA tree. I like the current free fire but i think this would be cool.

Ok so Agents don't come after us in The Matrix, but what about Swat Teams or Police?

Alot of us have felt it. We've felt it all our MxO lives. There is something wrong with this world. Its the question that drives is. You know the question, just as i did; Why doesn't The Matrix Online have that Matrix feeling?

There are meny things that SOE could implement to do such a thing. But what?

I watched the 3 movies again (thats what, 3234 times now?) and i thought of a few things that would give this game that feeling. But it's hard. From the movies you see alot of "Ah crap its an agent, run". Being able to just escape an agent and no more looks cool. Of coruse that is out of the question as there is a truce on right now. Agents still chase you, if you don't have all the nodes, but it just aint the same.

1) Wall running, Flipping off walls. I seen alot of that in the movies and it gives you the feeling that you are bending the rules of The Matrix. You are not totaly defying gravity. You are just going that bit further. You gotta be able to shoot while running too. Lets not get to far into that though.

2) A reason not to die. "If you see an agent, do what we do, run, run your *CENSORED* off" Why? we can just reconstruct. I don't know the answer to this but it's a must in my opinion.

3)Bullet time. But wait we have that...but not enough my friend. I have been lucky to catch bullets in bullet time a few times. How cool would it be to see your bullet hit your opponent in BT with the cool *CENSORED* trails? We simply don't see enough of it.

Well booty calls my friends. I would love to hear your ideas, or how much mine suck. Remember the trailer for this thing "The future of The Matrix is in your hands" SMILEY

Any way. Bullet time sucks right now i think. Sometimes the camera is way off where it should be and its fixed to the spot meaning you can't move the camera to get an angle you want. With combat getting a revamp how will bullet time look ? Have the devs been working on this too?

Who would you most like to see in a 1 v 1 fight in MxO?

Morpheus was a selfish bast*** with those code bombs. He put all our lives at risk, and for what? Neo's body. I too wonder why the machines are keeping his body for but not enough to stress the truce.

It doen't matter now. He's dead. No skin off my nose. The Assassin stoped him in his tracks, and for that i am greatful. I wish i shook the hand of The Assassin. The Hand that killed Morpheus. In the end, The Assassin had to be stoped as well. Shame. I can think of a few more that needs deletion.

The Matrix is the best thing for humanity. We can't be trusted with total control over our own lifes. Look what we did to the earth. If it happens again the Machines might not be so forgiving. We cannot let that happen.

Cryptos will lead us into a better life than the stink pit we call "Zion". Even if it is a lie, any thing is better than where we are now.

So the choice is simple: return to the oblivion of the Matrix, or die. Please don't make it hard on your self. It's for the best.

I was known as 7even in the first few days of beta. I wanted to be "Seven" But it was taken. I searched for a cooler name than "7even". Using Google, i came across a topic on a forum. The topic was about what handle people would pick once MxO was released. Someone posted that they would like the name Pascal amongst other ones. So i used that. Thats right i stole the name from who ever posted that post. :smileysurprised:

What a day its been for me so far. I got wasted on Sunday and missed college on monday, came in today to sit my exam and aced it!

Then i came on to D1 to find that a new patch is beening released. Jack-o-lanterns have been placed around the mega city, clubs and hardlines have been dressed up. Should be a cool week. A number of great fixes and changes are also in the patch some of my favs are :

Simulacra no longer stick around after their master has unloaded the Ability that created it. (Fixes exploit.)

Players whose Crew or Faction data doesn't load correctly now have their reputation determine their Organization. (Fixes exploit.)

Ability grant consumables are no longer craftable and no longer work.

The Archaeologist has moved his digs to the Historical District.

Those are just a few in a many of great fixes and updates.

The revamp release comes a day after my birthday! Woot!

I got it at 8:26 today from Tesco. How sad am i? Very sad.

This game by far beats the **bleep** out of any other management game. It gets better every year and the devs are really good at what they do. They released a patch last night before the game was out, ok that might sound funny but the amount of fixes listed, over 150 fixes.

Well my game just patched so i'm off to play it. Woot for me!
