As it is said in the producer's letter, the cinematics are no more. Sure, they were far from being perfect, but it seems to me that it was still a better way to tell the big lines of the story than "The Sentinel", which will now take the place... Personally, it makes me sad...

We've got a new Sentinel about two moths ago. Since then, the newspaper has not been updated, so my question is: when? When it came to giving up the cinematics, I thought we would get a new Sent every month, but now I come to realise that this is not going to happen. Hope we aren't gonna wait for a new paper one year again... I suppose this question goes especially to Rarebit or Virrago, so it's their answer I'm expecting the most.

I personally never said anything about the Sentinel replacing the Cinematics here. It's just that the announced "comeback" of the paper made me think it would be a something regular, not just a "we do it when we do it" stuff.

That's the point of my question, Vinia: what does it look like then? What can we hope to get, finally? I know this has been discussed already, but still: wasn't the Sentinel going to be one of the major ways to tell the story since the beginning of the Chapter 10? Wouldn't that mean we could hope to get it updated several times per Chapter, and not just once in eternity?

Really, people, just get me right. First of all, I really do appreciate everything that's being done to keep this game as awesome as it is. I enjoy very much every Live Event that takes place and I love to paticipate, I don't take for granted the Critical Missions (it is also a great work by the devs) and I'm delighted to know there will soon be a new Construct, "Sati's Plaground". There is a lot of huge "thank yous" going to the developpers team from me. My questioning is not about criticising, it's about wanting to know and wanting more (yes, a "human reaction" . Just want it to be clear.

I'm having the same bug on Vector. The first time it happened to me like two-three weeks ago, and since then I have it all the time. The hyper-jump helps sometimes, sometimes it doesn't.

I just discovered it today: http://thematrixonline.station.sony.com/sentinel While I am happy because it finally appeared, I am also slightly disappointed about the fact that the hidden messages don't add anything to the storyline and seem just out-dated. In the times of "A New Approach", it seems to me, the Sentinel could be one of important ways to advance the story while waiting for a new update... This would obviously require one paper every month and a content, that brings something new to the story...

I simply loved it. To get some music, I just put Rob Dougan's "Chateau" from The Matrix Reloaded on WinAmp, and I found it was a pretty good soundtrack.

You sure that's a Merovingian mission? That sounds more like the first Zion 2.3 mission. You're ordered to allow them to be killed by gang members between missions to make it look like an accident so their bodies can be searched.

there are color the tell u...first is green when u first attack shield...secound is orange....third is oragne red...after that it brakes...and sumtimes it skips reds...that may be your case...if i have time i will show u screen shot of the shield colors ok both of use was right i just found out...gunman and MA user shield brake in 2 hits...hacks and the other viral user brake in 3 hits....it still stands that i was fighting enemies whos shields i had to brake 3 times

I know a lot of people are complaining about the "New Approach" because "there are no Live Events". Actually there are, and they are quite a few - all it takes to find out about them is a bit of devotion: 1. The new Scanline event: http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/..._id=36300027206 2. The Data Retrieval event: http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/..._id=36300027008 3. The Ishtar II - Novalis II events: http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/..._id=36300027240 4. The "Eyes Open" of HvCft Lost Sojourn plus the fragmented map events - an "Eyes Open" member recently reappeared on Syntax. 5. The Courier delivery events: http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/..._id=36300025639 - these are connected with the bluepill recruitement events that those who participated in the deliveries know about. All these are telling a particular continuing sidestory and most of them are more than just a little fun. There is a big amount of things to do, and LESIG deserves a huge credit for holding them. So I have to state once again that I can see no reason for all the complaining I constantly see on these boards.
